We be goblins encounters..

Well I'm DMing today and had a question. My guys like lots of encounters and I'm having them use some pregenned characters.

With the Brinestump Marsh being so close to sandpoint... Would it be bad to say have some teenagers from sandpoint exploring the marsh and maybe have the party find them? Then they could decide to attack them or sneak by the kids?

Maybe I'm not understanding - is the pc group made up of goblins? If so, that would work ok. You could also have a group out hunting/gathering, etc & wander too close to the marsh...

Yeah, the PC group would be made up of 4 goblins.

I wanted to do something before reaching the spider since they all love combat and I wanted to tease them. Then maybe later on, have those goblins a little more powerful in a ROTL campaign when they PCs fight them.
