I like the Adventure Card Game, but I hate that often I don't have a clue who the people I encounter are! I'd pay extra for a PDF only book that would give me an intro to the scenario and adventure.
I'm not asking for a $5 book either. I'd pay $30 for a nice book that explained who was in the town/dungeon etc, why we went where, and what happened after. I want a little bit more narrative then whats on the cards. I don't plan to play the adventure path, but this way I will feel like I did.

I'd love to see this too. I'd be willing to pay more like $5 or maybe $10 myself, but $30 would be a bit much. For $42 you can get the PDF of the RotR Adventure Path Anniversary Edition.
Of course, nothing like that exists for the other adventure paths.

Though the comic features some of the characters and locations, it does not tell the story of Rise of the Runelords.
The Pathfinder Legends audio adventures from Big Finish, though, do tell the Rise of the Runelords story....

This is precisely why I bought:
Rise of the Runelords Anniversary Edition
It has the entire story, with a wealth of detail and background info.
