Going off the character concept above i think a Sauran Shaman druid is a better summoner. You can build a similar character. However the feats that you would need as a druid to benefit wildshape makes it not worth it to me.
So i'm thinking...
Demodand spawn (RP reasons for me, trying to find an interesting build for this race)
Druid 1-5 (5th required for totemic summoning)
Animal domain
Abilities 15/14/16/10/16/7 (pfs 20 pt buy)
Traits: Defensive Strategiest (worship Torag) Reactionary (+2 total init)
Druid 1-5 (animal domain)
Feats:
1: Warrior Priest
3: Power Attack
5: Combat Reflexes
Hellknight Signifer 6- (order of the pyre for Glaive)
7: Spell Focus Conjuration
9: Augment Summoning
11: Superior Summoning
13: Boon Companion or Quicken Spell
15: Boon Companion or Quicken Spell
Why?:
There are a ton of dinosaur summons available making the saurian shaman, seemingly, a more powerful summoner than a Cleric with Sacred Summons. All these dinosaurs I can apply an advanced or giant or both template to them and summon them as a standard action. It would at the very least be more useful through more of the game rather than having sacred summons only for certain summon monster levels.
If I were using wildshape I would have to take spellcasting feats and other feats to allow for this to work so I might as well take another class. Hellknight Signifier provides some bonuses since I don't intend to use wildshape and it enhances my domain powers per level allowing me to have a decent level animal companion.
Is there any other PRC I should consider instead or added on? Should I go straight druid?

The concept should work pretty well in general. I agree that this concept should work at least as well as a reach cleric in terms of spellcasting - the only downside is that a druid who doesn't use wild shape is nowhere near as useful a combatant as a cleric, due to the lack of good self-buff spells. I'd reconsider not using wild shape. You talk about having to get 'feats that you would need to benefit wild shape' and 'spellcasting feats', but I don't see what all those feats are. Just get natural spell instead of warrior priest, and you're good to go.
An optimized wild shape user may want a whole bunch of other feats (like style feats), but they're not strictly necessary, and you probably mainly want to turn into things with good reach and one big attack anyway. For those forms, power attack is basically all you need. Added advantage of staying a druid is that your base attack bonus will be one better at most levels beyond 5, as taking druid 5 is no better than druid 4 in terms of bab. You could also still get out of druid after level 8, off course, as after that animal forms don't improve anymore anyway.
If you really want to go into another class, Hellknight Signifier is ok, but doesn't seem that much better than druid to me. You could have a look at divine scion, as that gives you access to weapon specialization and greater weapon focus for some extra weapon damage, but not much else. Gray Warden is also interesting. You'd lose caster levels, which is a shame, but it does significantly boost your combat capabilities.

If you went full druid and saurian, at 6th level you get wildshape and count as 8th for dinos.
Now you can go reach combat using large or better forms and, staying full druid, keep up full spellcasting.
Your summoning plan still works and you don't have to multiclass for a reach weapon.
Also, access to summoning spells is not slowed down.
