GM Wolf is a great gm/player. See your feeling better that's good. Thinking on opening my own ebberon campaign sometime soon just workin on the details. Mostly trying to nail down the one rule I know people will probably not play because of. Just finished that came out good but still a stretch for most players.
To bad your only looking for 2 LOL the other ebberon post has like 15+ folks trying to get into it (including me, but I still think I wont) and only 5 slots open. Who would have thought that ebberon's as popular as it is on a site where they try to sell their own campaign LOL.

Please consider La'kaan, a barbarian from the Demon Wastes, member (or former member) of the Ghaash'kala. He is a bloodrager barbarian (from the new advanced classes) with the abyssal bloodline. He would worship the primal version of the Silver Flame (Kalok Shash).
La'kaan is the sole survivor (or so he thinks) of an attack by a fiend in the Labyrinth, which wiped his tribe out. That event triggered his bloodrage and his associated bodily manifestation (he takes on a terrifying countenance not unlike the fiends he tries to destroy). Thinking himself cursed, he wonders the wastes for a few weeks until he is 'rescued' by a worshiper of the 'true' Silver Flame. This person teaches him that he's not cursed and teaches him 'proper' religion.
The bloodrager is unconvinced, leaves the wastes, and continues to search the world for answers as a devout worshiper. Meanwhile he cannot deny the primal 'demon taint' that stirs in his blood and is afraid of the taint 'growing/spreading' in him.
If you approve of the concept, I will prepare a full character sheet with full fluff (background, appearance, and personality) for your consideration. I plan on starting as a bloodrager barbarian and dip into cleric levels to show his new devotion.
Let me know what you think at your earliest convinience.
Happy gaming!
Fabian

The campaign is listed below, if you have any questions after perusing feel free to ask.

Blood rager is one of the new play test classes? If so I will ask you to just take barbarian classes instead. You would be comin in third level, so at least one level in cleric would be needed.

Just steppin in: maybe you'd allow players to go barbarian/oracle instead? PrCing out with Rage Prophet is a lot more attractive than mixing cleric, and it should fit pretty good flavor-wise.
Good to see another Eberron game with Pathfinder, I'll make sure to put you on my watchlist :)

Well, that's too bad because it's a perfect fit. I'm assuming the bloodrager is out because the class is 'new' and not official. And that's OK, I understand. The truth of the matter is that for the 2 levels that I wanted to take, I can take beast totem (lesser) as my 2nd level rage power and the mechanical effects would be the same.
I'm hoping it's Ok if I describe my barbarian with other bodily manifestations when he rages (you know, him taking on a 'fiendish' appearance, but for 'flavor' only). Later when the class is official, perhaps we can talk again and 'switch'.
So 2 levels of barbarian and 1 level of cleric coming up. I read the site which has character generation info.
Now what about tying my PC to the party? I noticed the party is in the middle of a Xen'drik jungle, any thoughts on that?
Thanks for you time,
Fabian

Fabian I think that will work, either cleric or oracle with barbarian. Yes I am fine with your flavor.
Yes this campaign is open to all 3.5 sources.
You don't need class levels in divine, you could instead be a protector of the other divine character, use traits to connect you to divine, or develop your background to one degree or another of connections to gods, or their religious orders.
The group will need a cleric, paladin, oracle, or something of the like with sanctifying a certain object, you will have been given orders by your god or goddess to be at this sight to help.the harbinger. One of the other players or a combination of them can bring the ruin or salvation of the continual effects of the catastrophe that created the mournlands. Being a holy site you either made a pilgrimage to this site or were transported someway.
I hope to make a selection by tomorrow evening, since we have at least 4 applicants so far.
Vitalist? Which is alchemist, psionic, what?
If your character is in good standing with your dragonmark family you will likely part ways with this group after this adventure. That is get back to civilization.
Thanks Phurs/GM Black Knives!
Billzabub if you want to be considered get the crunch done! I will be looking for a crunch, background story, personality, description, picture, etc.
Please have your skills explained, thus showing a formula of ranks, modifiers, and class skills. If you need an example look at almost any of my aliases.
Thanagar, looking good. Develop it more, since you will be coming in at third level. You also might want to change to a god in Ebberon or 3.5 original gods, Silver Flame sounds like it would work well with him, though there are others.

Finally writing up my campaign recruitment post it'll be up in the next hour or so. LOL you will get to see why I'm a bit reticent about playing an arcane character under 3.0/3.5.
Stop by my post GM Wolf
Check out my rule changes you'll probably see why I didn't start up a campaign weeks ago (setting up the spreadsheet took up a week). May even lead to me not getting the game off the ground :).
Against the Flame Eberron Campaign is its name.

Feuerrabe |
Hello. I still have an Eberron Sorceress I've actually created D&D 3.5 Eberron campaign in German. Sharea d'Lyrandar, bears the least Mark of Storm - if that's not ok for you it would be kind to let me know up in front. If there is still need I could rework the stats in Pathfinder rules and translate the background.
The background has two parts, a first general part and a second part to make the character fit into a campaign that starts in Sharn. I am not sure about the bloodline yet. Dragonmarked fits better, but I always like Celestial and Arcane sounds like a good compromise.
For now I can only offer a Google translation of the background, 1st part - please forgive the catastrophic language, it's a machine translation:
-------
Sharea was the daughter of the Ranger Deliel near Wyr . Her mother did not care much for too much of human society , and was deeply connected with the forests , so the two lived for himself and lived a simple , frugal life.
Since its Geburrt Sharea wore a Dragonmark , the sign of the storm. Deliel time took it, Sharea to tell from her father, though she never denied that he had been Lyrandar from the home. But when Sharea too crowded she admitted that her father was a Teleron , dealer Heaven Guild was , whose ship had been damaged on the way back to Stormhold and had to make an emergency landing at Wyr . The young Teleron Deliel had fallen once and only too happy they had been willing to lead him through the woods to keep eye out for repair for matching wood to his ship. Since it was not obvious was the only one who had set out to seduce each other then it went very quickly to the point.
The relationship then tore off immediately, as was usual in such cases. Apparently Deliel a very special adventure for Teleron . Only once , however, she accompanied him to Stormhold - there she was not too happy seen as quite simple woman , and there was quite a lot of pretty half - Elfines which it had apart on her lover she was clearly felt . Nevertheless, they decided on a common child, as Teleron once spent two weeks Deliel .
Unfortunately, it was announced that Telerons mistress was pregnant and he wanted to hold on to her. Telerons mother , so SHAREAS grandmother , made sure that Teleron was returned to the Stormhold - some soldiers of the house , which clearly did not feel comfortable in their own skin , dragged him with more or less gentle violence from their tent, and brought him into their sky ship .
Deliel himself traveled to Stormhold , but even after months of begging , she was denied the inlet . She was mitlerweile Penniless and pregnant , and could no longer do without the hush money that Telerons mother had offered her . So she traveled to bring back to Wyr to her child.
For years, yet communicated in letters to each other and Deliel Teleron . First, the incident was kept small and married to a distant cousin . With time , and his mother's death , however, he was left increasingly off the leash . He slapped his success as a trader and eventually was given command of several ships . To Deliel but he never came back . From his stories Deliel knew that Sharea had at least four half-siblings .
After her mother had told Sharea of the story was this more and more of a dreamer . Again and again she touched the Dragonmaw between her shoulder blades and both knew that they would try sooner or later their luck in Stormhold .
When she was just 22 years old - which is very young for a half - elf - Sharea went on his way , equipped with nothing more than a pretty dress and barely developed magical skills , which had begun in early youth , to be felt . She did not go the direct route and their Dragonmaw she hid well under her thick blond hair.
sister
---------
She gave herself a servant entree to Stormhold . Her father was at the time on a long trade mission but she managed to sneak into the service of their oldest half-sister. Sharea had firmly made the woman to hate , but was Tarenne of such a cordial nature , at least when the two were among themselves that they had like to have simple.
It was Tarenne first said like " Sometimes I get the feeling you're more my sister than my brothers are brothers. " Thereupon Sharea could no longer hold back and showed her the dragon sign. At the same time she pleaded with her not to tell anyone anything about it and stopped Tarenne SHAREAS kept secret. In fact, they behaved in public now rather coarse compared to Sharea , but the two really were the best of friends . When the travel trade her father dragged on , the two decided once her mother near Wyr to visit.
As a little game , since no one really knew that Sharea was not an official member of the house, dressed they fit her a few clothes , so that Sharea could occur as Tarennes official sister during their trip. And so they were both one night attacked , gagged and abducted in a posh guest house in Fair Haven by bandits .
Separately, they were detained and Sharea was in a quite luxurious , although apparently held underground prison . When her kidnappers should only get the ransom for a member of the house but, after it was known to Stormhold only Tarenne , they decided summarily to kill the excess abductees . When they Sharea presented to the speech affirmed this to be only a liar and no member of the house. Unfortunately Tarenne had done the same . And since Sharea now once and Dragonmaw wore , as the kidnappers quickly found out when she began to mistreat and Tarenne again none , the cause was clear very quickly for them.
Sharea should be tied up and delivered , killed Tarenne .
The anger and despair in Sharea was unbearable and she made it for the first time really real magic to manifest and not just a blip of a flame. Their lies and stories seasoned with enchantments , and brought one of her guards to solve their shackles and bring them to Tarenne order to be able to see one last time .
Still Tarenne had not been murdered , her captors had decided to vergügen in any other way with her. And even if Tarenne had the heart of a lioness and the traces of their resistance were quite to see the bandits , she had been unsuccessful in the end the odds. As Sharea saw this scene Stretched them before they knew what was happening both kidnapper with a sleeping spell down with her. She pulled Tarennes shackles. While Sharea distract the previously charmed kidnappers stabbed the still stark naked Tarenne him in the back with a dagger of the offset previously in sleep . The sleeping Sharea took before himself and slit their throats on .
Lyrandar
--------
After all that had happened , the two went back on the road to Stormhold , where the whole story came out. First Sharea should be punished to impersonate a member of the House for their arrogance , but Tarenne works for them and was showing as Sharea her dragon character and even her father Teleron , who was only two days earlier, returned to Stormhold , let it be known he was willing to accept Sharea as his daughter ( not so much Sharea own sake , but because he could refuse nothing Tarenne ) , you let go of a hard punishment , even if it is for now crackled within the family. The deciding factor was the dragon characters - whether she was a daughter officially or not - you could hardly deny that she was a Lyrandar in a way , as there were not too many of the house yet , and the dragon's blood had to be kept strong.
She was recognized as a member of the house and could henceforth call Sharea d' Lyrandar . At the same time she was but , in particular by her grandmother and step-mother both had a significant influence on the internal processes of Stormhold , declared on Stormhold undesirable . Since its intuitive magic skills were known to put her in prospect that this could change one day, it should be possible to further develop their skills and their magic with their deeds to earn their rank as a member of the house.
Teleron did not talk much with his daughter and when but his wife kept a watchful eye on him. Nevertheless, he made Sharea a gift when she left the Stormhold . It had been Tarennes idea , but her father had once taken up . A young falcon falconry from the house, one of the ddelsten animals on the entire festivities. " A witch needs a confidant, my daughter," he said.
And Sharea decided to do what was most typical of their new home - to wander and inner restlessness be obeyed . First she put Teleron ( their hawks , not her father ) her mother before , then she moved further south to the south by the states and major cities of her so familiar Aundair .

Well, I don't know what the GM deems appropriate, of course.
However, in Eberron deities are less present than in most other settings and not all faiths are about deities in a classic, polytheistic sense. For a paladin the "Church of the Silver Flame" might be alright. Or the Sovereign Host, which is indeed a polytheistic pantheon, but the faith isn't usually to an individual deity, but to the entire host.
http://eberron.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Deities
I hope I am not telling things you did already know. :D
As for my own application, it seems you already have found two, and also that the group the character was originally meant for isn't dying out after all. (It's usually not a wise thing for a player to step on the GM's toes, but to ask them to get their act together in a kind way can work wonders.)
If there is still need, I can gladly provide a variation of the given character as female, half-elven chaotic good witch, who does not bear any dragon mark. However, it looks like you guys were all fine.

GM Wolf |

I think Sharea would work well as she is right now with the dragonmark of Storm.
Characters so far:
La'kaan, barbarian/cleric,
Thanagar Hal, LG, Half Orc, Inquisitor (Favored Class)
Sharea, witch, CG, halfelf, storm dragonmark
Charles Krupt, paladin, LG, tiefling dwarf
Players who showed interest:

If I missed someone please post it!
Charles you still need to develop your background story even though you don't remember it.
Phurs/DM Black Blades are you applying here? I also did not see a link to your new campaign.
Another thing to add to your background:
How did you get to this holy site?
I have a small testing to happen, once you have what I have asked for please interact with me in the following scenario:
At the holy site are ruins, there are no guardians but most creatures still stay away from it. The font of the Silver Flame burns brightly in the center of the ruins. There are alters to other gods around the ruins. A small little shocker lizard greets you, "Greetings, how'd you get here?" he asks humbly.

La'kaan |

La'kaan swats another fat fly from his neck, another bloody stain on his body but the barbarian is past caring. He smells the air and knows that soon another downpour will wash his body clean. If only his soul could be cleansed so easily. He sighs.
It had been close to a week of relentless travel through the jungle but now it all made sense. He was here and his heart confirmed it. He breathes deeply; the previously strange smells now much less menacing to a barbarian from the barren wastes. He had underestimated the dangers of this place. Whereas his homeland was deadly because it was difficult to find food and water to survive, this place had that aplenty. But it also had dangerous predators that he soon became acquainted with. He palms his greataxe, intimately acquainted.
The Demon Wastes, where he was born and grew up, was also dangerous for the fiends that inhabit it. La'kaan had been part of the Ghaash'kala clans until disaster struck. He was the only one that walked away from the area of the attack. Well over twenty brothers and sisters had lost their lives that day. Even today, La'kaan still doesn't know how he survived. But he is far from unscathed. From that day on, he bears the taint in his blood. The same curse that takes over when he loses himself in battle. The same poison that changes his body in different ways. He's been told that he sometimes grows horns, whereas other times sharp claws protrude from his fingers or his eyes turn milky white. Thankfully, La'kaan doesn't remember any of it.
But now that gnawing in his heart, that yearning is about to be fulfilled. Even from this distance, he can see Kalok Shash burning brightly. Moreover, he feels it and his heart rejoices.
A small little shocker lizard greets you, "Greetings, how'd you get here?" he asks humbly.
Slightly surprised, the barbarian quickly recovers. He smiles and points to the center of the ruins, to the sacred font, "There. Kalok Shash called me."
------------
GM Wolf,
Please consider La'kaan for inclusion in your game.
His crunch is in the alias and his fluff is forthcoming.
Let me know if you need further information at this time.
Thanks for your time,
Fabian

The Sly |

"Ah yes the flame calls you and many have different names for the great One!" the little sentient lizard says nasally, its voice creaks and cracks with its high pitched voice.
"Will you be a suitable guardian or will you take justice out with the scions and harbinger?" it asks while it turns it head from side to side as if looking for others.

Tanira |

Alright - Feuerrabe here - I've created a witch.
Still needs some work in the details, but the most important stats and the story is standing - see the profile.
As you can see I changed the name, because I didn't want to end up with different chars having the same name. Sorry if that caused confusion.
Hm. The bonus from the Least Mark of Storm isn't calculated in yet... +2 on acrobatics instead of balance?

La'kaan |

La'kaan is about to step inside the ruins, to bask in Kalok Shash glory when the lizard talks again.
He turns, slightly irritated at being kept waiting, and simply states, "I know not what the Flame needs but I will serve her." He puts his axe on the ground and leans on it as he explains, "In times past, my mandate was to strike down fiends that wanted to leave the Wastes. She wanted us to keep the demon taint from spreading..." His heart skips a beat at the thought of him spreading the demon poison.
The barbarian takes a deep breath and in a deep voice says, "Enough talk. I must pray and cleanse at Kalok Shash. Only then will I know what needs to be done."

Tanira |

About the test question
As I become aware of the Silver Flame I immediately freeze and don't even dare to breathe. "Witch hunters?" I wonder. "Here?" A wave of confidence comes from Zharon, the spirit fox who is my friend an familiar. I smirk; it was I who called him a pussycat, because he didn't want to enter that wide grove of oaks with mistletoe in their crowns. I thought he was concerned over the ruins, long overgrown with ivy and reclaimed by the forest at first. This is a place of many memories and I was curious. Then I notice him directing her attention at someone.
A small little shocker lizard greets you, "Greetings, how'd you get here?" he asks humbly.
I lower my hand which I have unconsciously lifted to cast a charm spell if needed. That is probably not a witch hunter. I sigh in relief and think about an answer. 'On foot' is just too painfully obvious. The buzzard I have been watching springs into my mind again. Now that I think of, I has probably been following the bird. It suddenly has turned away and disappeared in the trees in about the same place at which Zharon got nervous.
"I followed the call of the wind." That is the truth, both regarding my travel in all and my arrival on this particular location. "I am Tanira..." I barely swallow the 'd'Lyrandar' and indicate a playful curtsey - simply bearing a mark doesn't make one a member of a house. "... a traveller. Might I know thy name and what this place is?" I gestures around, encompassing all the altars, but avoid the silver flame.
Hmmm. I am not used to write in first person present, I must admit, but since the question was formulated in present...
I am slowly getting confused by all this in-character and out of character posts here. Who's supposed to answer to what? Do we arrive at the scene simultaneously and are to consider the presence of the others or independant of each other?

The Sly |

Thats right Tanira, +2 on acrobatics.
"Yes, yes, don't wait on my account feel free to cleanse. I am here to observe." He screeches happily. The little lizards scurries off to another side of the sacred site.
Presently The Sly will introduce each individual to the shrine. Some will stay at the shrine as others leave with the original PCs. Though I want to incorporate your characters so when they get to the shrine you have been there for some time already. Unless you come in with another person then you come in together.
_________________________
The little green yellow lizard screeches in comman at Tanira, "Tanira, you are welcome here, the flame is of justice and will not burn those who are here for a purpose. Now the others who come should not... well... they are their own persons, I hope they don't jump to conclusions. Oh yes... my name... Sly. This is a sacred place to the good gods and those that are... sacred. A good place to cleanse your body and soul. If you connect with any of the gods or have a connection to one of them, it gets much stronger here." He dances side to side to a song that only the lizard can hear.
__________________________
Still waiting on Charles and Thanagar's introductions!

Charles Krupt |

There is a loud crashing through the undergrowth as a very confused looking dwarf stumbles into the clearing. Upon closer inspection the bright Silver Flame emblazoned on his chest almost overshadows an obvious infernal bloodline. "Where am I? Why does it feel different here? Huh? Oh I felt like this was the direction I should be walking, and I have been walking a long time." He plops down at the base of a tree using it as a backrest and pulls a small trinket from a pocket and starts fidgeting with it.
Is the build correct? I used a 25 point buy, Level Adjustment 0/(1 from 3.5) and 3 class levels. I spent 3,000 gold. let me know if my Estimated Character Level of 3/(4 from 3.5) is correct and if I have more gold to spend

Thanagar Hal |

At the holy site are ruins, there are no guardians but most creatures still stay away from it. The font of the Silver Flame burns brightly in the center of the ruins. There are alters to other gods around the ruins. A small little shocker lizard greets you, "Greetings, how'd you get here?" he asks humbly.
Thanagar looks that the holy site, he feels a deep connection with the Silver Flame as it burns bright. He remembers the purpose it gives him. The Flame is life he thinks to himself. I am here to serve others of the Silver Flame and will crush evil where it may grow. As his eyes make contact with the other altars he feels furious. at least the Flam burns bright he mumbles to himself. He adjust his hammer. When a a voice startles him..
"Greetings, how'd you get here? a small lizard asks
I don’t remember how .. Thanagar is at lost as to how he ended up here in this holy site. He remebers the vows he took to the Silver Flame but nothing else. As he stands there he searches his memories.

The Sly |

No it looks good Charles.
A little lizard comes up to Charles, "Why are you all so... so... wrong? Infernal or demonic lineages as opposed to celestial or guardinal? Hmpfff. So where ya from, how'd you get here?" You can see that the lizard changes emotions rapidly.
_______________________
At another time the little lizard continues to inspect Thanagar, "Interesting how you don't know, it seems like a cheat! Are you a cheat?"
_______________________
Before you see each other, I need to know how long you would have been at the ruins. Some have longer lives than others, as in the same reason the silver flame might have kept you strong and not age a day waiting for the right time.

Thanagar Hal |

Thanagar looks at the Lizard and before he answers. He searches his soul. The Flame is perfect and being in its presence is enough. This how he feels and then as the question comes to his mind. He remembers a war then a flash. Then he remembers being here at the ruins.
No I am not a cheat. I have been cheated, but now feel peace he tells Sly.

Tanira |

The little green yellow lizard screeches in comman at Tanira, "Tanira, you are welcome here, the flame is of justice and will not burn those who are here for a purpose. Now the others who come should not... well... they are their own persons, I hope they don't jump to conclusions. Oh yes... my name... Sly. This is a sacred place to the good gods and those that are... sacred. A good place to cleanse your body and soul. If you connect with any of the gods or have a connection to one of them, it gets much stronger here." He dances side to side to a song that only the lizard can hear.
I smile as I watch the little lizard dance. I do indeed feel welcome now. In draconic I reply: "If it feels more comfortable to your tongue, I can understand you like this." In common I continue: "My one in tongue is clumsy in shaping words in draconic." For a moment I pause to think. Listen to the leaves in the wind, try to feel the pulse of the earth. Yes, he is right, something is alive here. "I don't believe in concrete gods, I believe in the spirits of the things around us, and the things and people that were before..." Slowly I wander around the altars have a closer look at them and try get a feeling for the gods they represent. "Our altars are rock formations under moonlight, in which we dance to celebrate the beauty of creation, waterfalls in which bathe to cleanse off dark thoughts, an old, gnarled oak, older than than the Khoravar themselves, over a field in which we bury our ancestors, through which we commune with them. I believe there is a world spirit, sometimes called Gaia, but we don't commune with it directly, because we are too far set apart from it; ultimately we're just too small an aspect of the larger whole. But this place is strangely alive. I can hear the spirits almost talking to me in the rush of the leaves."
My face turns to the silver flame. I must admit, I am curious. The warden of this place said it won't burn those who were here for a purpose. I can't deny it's more beautiful than I thought possible. But strangely distant. "... or the light that never, never warms"*, I whisper, lines from a song I know.
I turn around and try to find the place were the connection to the spirit world is strongest. It may not be deity, per se, and spirits weren't necessarily good, but some of them are and there may be a druidic circle here as well. And the warden kind of invited me to commune with what I believe in. I trust the instincts of Zharon to guide me to where the spirits are close, as he's a part of the spirit world himself "Which others are we waiting for? For which 'purpose'?"
