Brainstorming Concepts for a low lvl game!!

Advice

Hello you guys.

i'm starting an adventure soon. said adventure is going to start at 3rd lvl and end at around 9lvl.

the books avaiable are the CRB and APG, and only if the GM is in a good mood the Ultimates and the Advance Race Guide.

I want to know what would you play and why?
There is no need to post an entire build just the general guidelines of it and why you would play that.
There is no party yet so there is no restriction of "what ever is missing".

I also have some ideas of you want to comment about them:
-Human Alchemist 3: because of Feral Mutagen and Smoke bombs + some general utility.

-Halfling Fighter 2/Oracle(nature) 1: with spirited charge and power attack, charging stuff and some spellcasting for goodies. OR druid 1 for a Roc as a mount.

-Human Cavalier(cockatrice) 2/Rogue(thug/scout) 1: Intimidating beast to try and get people running around screaming.

-Half-Orc Rogue(thug/scout) 3: enforcer and skill focus (intimidate) to make people run AND aply sickened.

-Halfling Rogue(thug) 1/ Bard 2: skill focus (string) and Taunt... seriously a guitar guy that can make people scream in terror :D (i don't see the GM digging this though he is more of a serious "not orther of the stick" guy)

Anyways, tell me what would you play and why? and if you want comment on the concepts above i would appreciate it :)

PS: sorry for my english.

Are you insisting on sticking with core races?
How high is the chance that you have the Ultimates and ARG available?
What classes/races are the other party members?

We need more info to help.

the other party members are not decided yet... but i think there is a cleric already.

Core races only.
About the Ultimates... maybe an archetype or a specific feat will be available I doubt that more than that.

Hmmm...core races only. Okay.
Are you looking for more flavor or optimization?
Martial front-liner or full-caster blaster?

What exactly are you looking for in this character?

-Martial front-liner or full-caster blaster?

i don't really know. because i will be the "fill this job" guy (i always tend to be that guy, even more now because the other players are new to pathfinder). martial or caster it dosen't matter is just a discussion about posible builds.
Don't worry about optimization, its just to talk about builds that dosen't need to be 12lvls to get their act together (like for example the "Come and get me" barbarian)

There was a feral non-monk weaponless build floating around that I thought looked like fun.

Barbarian with beast totem and ranger with natural weapon style.
Half-orc with toothy.
To really go with no weapons, an option was eldritch heritage with one of the bloodlines that give you a minor energy attack.

Just run up and claw/claw/bite people. Max stealth, acrobatics, and climb so you can get to foes. The energy attack for things you still can't get in reach.

I don't think it would hang at high levels. But seemed pretty good at low level and decent at medium level.

--------------------------------

You said APG, so a summoner is always welcomed by a party. (If you are an organized player.) A different than standard option is to build and use the eidolon for scouting. Dissmiss it and summon creatures for combat.

---------------------------------------------------

A lot of people talk about the halfling cavaliers on dogs. I haven't tried one yet.

What kind of adventure? Dungeon crawler? Court intrigue? Eldritch horrors? Swashbuckling on the high seas? Hero's Journey?

m... it will be a varied adventure but I incline more for the Dungeon Crawl type.

Kydeem: those are great tips thanks!
