Are there any decent Wizard archetypes out there?

Advice

Liberty's Edge

I'm looking to create a wizard for play in Pathfinder Society, but I can't find an archetype that I want to play. I've done the Illusion thing before so Shadowcaster is out, and the Primalist is illegal in PFS. Just wondering if I'd missed a decent one out there.

Most the archetypes are pretty bad to be honest.

Nope! They are all super trash.

Giving up Cantrips, 4 opposed schools? Lol some of these archetypes are joke levels

There aren't really any good archetypes, but the wizard class already comes with 20+ class variations with the different specialties. You can basically make a wizard into any type of caster that you want. What do you want to be?

Is the requirement that you be powerful? Or do you want an archetype that presents role playing opportunities, sometimes at the cost of utility?

What do you mean by "decent Wizard archetype"?

Actually, Primalist and Shadowcaster(from ISM), are both flavorful and useful archetypes.

Primalist lets you cast a spell without using the slot 1-5 times a day, but you have to make a concentration check or it goes weird.

Shadowcaster lets you prepare a few extra spells in your shadow.

Both archetypes give up arcane bond to do so, and that makes them fairly even trades.

Just looking for something besides Primalist or Shadowcaster that provides a real benefit without requiring me to shoot myself in the foot as a trade-off.

I'll probably be going Diviner (Foretelling) and putting my spell focus into some other school. Probably Conjuration or Transmutation. Leaning towards the latter.
