I imagine the effects would scale with proportion. Unless they are drinking out of a massive tankard there probably won't be room for much of the potion. Also I imagine, since the potions aren't designed to deceive, that it would be obvious prior to or immediately after a sip, that something is wrong. As for the rage, I think proportional effect for both in terms of impact and duration.

RAW, I don't think it is possible to "mix" a potion and alcohol, just to combine the two actions. It breaks the action economy as intended.
For comparison, the only two ways I know to augment the action of drinking a potion are:
-The drunken brute, as you know
-A mythic feat, Two-fisted drinker, that let you drink 2 potions by a standard action.
For what kind of spell you can use as potions/oils:
It can duplicate the effect of a spell of up to 3rd level that has a casting time of less than 1 minute and targets one or more creatures or objects.
