Gypsy build - Trait thoughts

Advice

I am helping my wife with a gypsy build for an upcoming WOTR campaign.

Decided on a tattooed Sorcerer and a bluff specialist. (+16)
I had been toying with a number of traits, then hit on the idea of taking Rich Parents (+900 go to start with) and using almost all her starting funds to buy a Page of Spell Knowledge to get her a third spell at 1st lvl.

I know Rich Parents is usually a poor trait, but in this case, is there really anything better?

Human with Focused Study and Silver tongue
Traits:
Riftwarden Orphan
Rich Parents
Magical lineage - Snowball

Feats:
Alertness - Familiar
Varisian Tattoo (class) - Conjuration
Rime Spell
Skill Focus Bluff (Focused Study)

Spells, Snowball, Color Spray Silent Image ( Page of Spell Knowledge)

She probably won't ever deal the most damage in a round, but should always deal decent damage, with debuffing options. (Rime and eventually daze, topple etc.) Add that with Summoning as a swift action (Mythic - Wild Arcana) And she should be pretty effective in combat.

Thoughts and suggestions?

What do you want to achieve with the build? Tattooed Dragonic Sorcerers for example make for great blasters with the proper build. What is your Bloodline arcana?

Snowball is a great first lvl spell, but does it worht ir to take magical lineage for it? Fortitude save is the worst save to aim for at higher lvls.

I'll second XMorsX in asking what the goal is with this build. I,ve yet to see a "general-purpose" sorcerer, so it's important to specialize. I've seen blasters, buffers, illusionists. But no "general-purpose" sorcerers, which is what you seem (maybe? my sense motive is low) to be going for.

Looking at being mostly a blasting debuffer. So she will never be able to Nova and out damage the Paladin or Barbarian. But, once we hit Mythic she should be able to:
Summon, Blast and Debuff in a single round.

Arcane Bloodline Figured it worked with the Tattooed sorcerer the best 1st lvl bloodline is basically the same, Lose three spells (One at 9th, 13th and 17th) , but gain the Enhanced Varisian Tattoo which for Mythic, will be awesome for her. (using the Mythic Amazing Initiative she can use a Mythic Power for a STD action, can't cast a spell, but she can use a spell like ability!). The Loss of a Bloodline feat for the Create Spell Tattoo is weak (IMO) but the other bonuses balanced it out.

The Fort save on the Snowball only prevents the staggered condition, it does not negate any of the damage. A Rime Snowball (which she can cast at 1st lvl) will deal 2d6 damage (Scales to 10d6 with Intensify) and entangles as long as the spell deals a single point of damage.

Of course if they fail the save, the take damage, are entangled and staggered. They only downside is it's only to 1 foe at a time.

A standard blaster oriented sorcerer would take the dragonic bloodline with hte tattooed archetype and use metamagic like rime or dazing in order to debuff with AoE spells like Fireball or Fire Snake.

For a generalist sorcerer, the arcane bloodline is indeed the best, but pls take the tattooed mystic out of the equation. If you really want the tattoos, take them as separate feats.

I see the synergy with amazing initiative, but casting an acid spash more per round will quickly become irrelevant.

The dragonic bloodline gives you a breath weapon to use in such cases from lvl 9 onwards.

I don't really see where the Tattoo Sorcerer is an issue.

1st lvl powers are the same, except the familiar can become a tattoo
7th lvl lose a Bloodfeat to gain what is basically scribe scroll (without the cost) that anyone can use.
9th Lose a spell, Gain a Spell like ability, You do lose two additional spells at higher lvl.

You do lose the eschew materials feat, but that's easy to replace and ( at least in our games) rarely comes into play.

Acid Splash? How about Black Tentacles or Polar Ray or Time Stop.

It's not that I don't appreciate the advise, cause I do, I just don't see why you feel that is a better class choice.

I looked at the Draconic bloodline and honestly the only thing good about it was the +1 Damage.. Claws and armor for a spellcaster?
ER 5 Meh... Breath Weapon, Meh... Capstone abilities are nice though.

Metamagic Adept seems a much better ability for a caster that wants to actually use metamagic feats. Boost that ability with Mythic Bloodline and your cooking with fire right? Metamagic Adept up to 7 additional times per day beats out a little bit of armor, and an extra point of damage per die.

If I am wrong, please point our the error of my thinking here.

Scarab Sages

Harrow Born (Varisian) - Pathfinder Companion: Humans of Golarion
Benefit: You start play with a harrow deck passed down from a relative. Because of your skill with fortune-telling, you gain a +1 trait bonus on initiative checks.

Gypsy Fortuneteller?

I played a blaster sorcerer whose most used spell was an entangling frostfireball. They also had many buffing/debuffing/control spells for when they were needed. I took magical lineage fireball, elemental spell frost, rime spell and spontaneous metafocus fireball. It took a bit to get it going and use them all together. But once it did, it was fun. You can also add a rod of dazing spell or some other metamagic rod for even more fun.

This.

Then go into the Harrower prestige class.

I just wanted to point out the synergy between the Dragonic bloodline and the Tattooed Sorcerer for blaster builds.

The arcane bloodline is indeed the best for a generalist Sorcerer.

About the spell-likes, I didn't have in mind the 9th lvl ability of the Tattooed Sorcerer so it is my mistake. Still it is once per day if I am not mistaken, so it is not so great, but it is decent.

Thanks to everyone that provided input I do appreciate it. Giving my wife all the options and she is thinking about it.
