Sorry, I'm confused. I saw I went after Cyclops 2, but didn't see the confirmation he'd dropped earlier, so I was waiting for the cyclops to act (or confirmation he was dead) before I posted. I tried clicking on the map link but the map won't load so if there was indication there I can't see it. I am going to go ahead and post both my round 1 and round 2 actions and hope that's okay. I'll make the round 1 action fairly innocuous.

Between Chumtooth and Riori, the last cyclops goes down rather easily.

Combat over!

The stone watchtower is 60 feet tall, with battlements encircling a raised platform about 40 feet up. Like the tower at the Chelish fort, it provides a commanding view of the seaside cliffs. The chambers below the tower have completely collapsed. The cyclopes were outside the tower's ruin, but there appears to be nothing of value within.

Riori hooks her starknife back to her belt, turning her eyes back to th tower. "While you loot the bodies, want me to fly up to the top of the tower and see if there's anything of interest up there?"

She's been with the crew long enough you know she can fly... and that in general when she walks, even, her feet barely seem to touch the ground, so much so she doesn't even leave footprints. A useful divine gift, to be sure.

Riori flits up to the top of the tower, alighting gently on the remains of the rooftop. From here, she has a commanding view of the island and to the east, she sees a natural canyon that the road passes through that looks almost like it contains the ruins of buildings. Beyond this, she can see a lone mountain to the northeast, about which circle several large flying birds.

The giants carried heavy crossbows and greataxes but had little else of value. Each carries a supply of a dozen bolts. One of the bodies bears a note, scrawled on a piece of parchment, written in an incomprehensible language (unless one of you reads Cyclops).

She then flies back to the ground and tells the crew what she saw, picking up a stick and sketching a rough map into the ground to show them.

As a matter of fact, I do read Cyclops!

Sorry everyone. I had no intent to let it go this long between posts. I kept telling myself that I needed to post something and then things just kept piling on. A friend recently had an attack of congestive heart failure and a massive pulmonary embolism. He's okay, but it was close. Anyway...

The quartet of officers follows the road east, heading deeper into the island. After about two hours of walking, you come upon a flagstone path that leads past alabaster columns and a pair of tall trees into a small mountain valley. Immense stone buildings stand dark and silent, some clearly weathered by the test of time. The path continues north between the structures to a wide set of stairs leading up to a circular, open-air monument.

Riori:
Historically, this place is significant, particularly if it was used as a dwelling by cyclopes. From a religious standpoint, you spot a few carvings that might be Prathos, a cyclopean god.

Net attack vs. touch AC: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (15) + 20 = 35

You do not see any signs of traps or an ambush. Unfortunately, even Faengrim's sharp eyes missed the cleverly concealed net that now triggers and scoops your team up!

You find yourselves hoisted about eight feet into the air, surrounded by a thick net. The net has hardness 0 and 5 hit points, or you can try an Escape Artist check (DC 20) or bursting the net (DC 25 strength check). But before that, a pair of crossbow bolts sail out from behind a ruined wall to your right. Fortunately, neither bolt connects.

Riori, focusing on a carving up ahead, asks, "Is that the symbol of Prath-OOOOOHHHHHHS!!! M##$$+ f@!+&~!" The second part of the question is a response to stepping into the net trigger and finding herself flung upward with her compatriots.

Having little desire to be that cozy with her crewmates, she manages to pull loose her adamantine starknife and warns the others (so they are ready to fall), "I'll cut it."

It's inanimate so should auto-hit. Damage: 1d4 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

She flies out of the hole she creates moving up higher so she can hopefully see the source of the crossbows beyond the wall.

Riori and Chumtooth free themselves, and Riori, from her elevated vantage point, spots two cyclopes in the ruin to the right, pointing crossbows at the party.

Rogar, Dantes, and Faengrim are still in the net.

Rogar is up! The map is up!

It only takes half hp to give something the broken condition. Is that enough for Rogar to get free?

Yes, Rogar can free himself, and with the damage done to the net thus far, I'm going to say that the others are free as well.

One of the cyclopes reloads his crossbow readying to fire again.

Everyone but Rogar is up! Faengrim, I have your action.

Hovering, Riori calls upon Desna's revealing light and casts Glitterdust on the two cyclopes.

I can't see the map so I will trust GM for placement. Hoping to get both in 10ft burst. Will aim for only one if that isn't possible or would hit party member. DC 17 Will save or be blinded and they are covered in glowing dust for 10 rounds.

Riori reacts almost instantly, casting a spell and catching both cyclopes in the blast. The first resists the blindness effects, but both are covered in glittering dust. Chumtooth hurls his harpoon at the first, striking it squarely in the chest. The cyclops stumbles backward, but remains standing as the harpoon magically returns to its owner. Freed from the net, nothing stands between Faengrim and the second cyclops. He tears into it viciously, inflicting several wounds. The second cyclops drops its crossbow and finds its greataxe, intending to attack Faengrim.
