Hej everybody,
I'm not good with emotional speeches and the like, so I'll keep it brief:
I'd like to thank Paco Garcia Jaen of GMS magazine, without whom there'd be no endzeitgeist.com - you are the best friend a man could wish for. I'd also like to thank Lou Agresta, who continued to encourage me throughout the years and Jonathan Nelson of Nerdtrek, who has helped me tremendously since we met. Finally, without Steven D. Russell's encouragement during my early days I would have never kept doing this...so thanks again.
Beyond that: "Thank you" to every publisher and author who has opted to send me complimentary copies and thus allowed me to keep up with the amount of cool supplements out there; Especially since it takes courage to face a review that is not guaranteed to turn out well and since I quite frankly wouldn't have the money to review that many products.
To every publisher who has corrected one of my mistakes: Thank you for being courteous and help me become a better reviewer.
I'd also like to thank Christian Stiles, Jonathan Nelson and Brian Berg for offering me a chance to contribute to their respective kickstarters.
Finally, I'd like to express my utmost gratitude to the few fine folk who actually donated me a couple of bucks to keep this enterprise running and those who commented on one of my reviews. Showing your support in any way helps me keep the fire burning.
So there it is - I'm nearing the big 1.5K reviews and wouldn't be here without any of you - may you have a blessed holiday, whatever religion (or lack thereof) you choose to follow!
See you after X-mas! Until then:
Endzeitgeist out.

Every morning before I head out on my walk to work, I eat breakfast while checking out the latest Endzeitgeist reviews.
Prior to discovering your website, I didn't allow any third party products in my PFRPG game. Now, nary a week goes by where I don't introduce something awesome developed by one of the fantastic 3PPs out there. My game has definitely benefitted from your diligence; the excitement around my game table is almost palpable every week as my players discuss the last session or wonder what I'm going to throw at them/put them through next.
Thanks, Endzeitgeist, for being a champion of 3PP and good game design! The best to you in 2014.

+1 to all the above. I wouldn't have gotten into reviewing myself if it hadn't been for your example, and you're one of the few people I know I can trust to read a review and base whether or not I spend money on something completely on often a single opinion. Thanks and hopefully life will allow you to keep up the good work for years to come =)

Thank YOU, End!
It's nice to have a reliable reviewer who I know isn't going to just blow smoke and will call out issues and call a spade a spade. I can't get better at making sure Dreamscarred products are good if I don't have someone who is reviewing it with an impartial and detail-oriented eye. I might not always agree with everything you say, but I appreciate your opinion and the time you spend doing these reviews - it's why I'll continue to send you review copies. :)

Thank you so much, everyone!
@Ken: You made my day, more so than you can imagine. I started this all to show people how good 3pps can be and hearing that a group actually benefits this much from my reviews is awesome. I hope I'll be able to be of service for years to come.
@Orthos: I am humbled by being considered an inspiration for you; I enjoy your reviews and enjoy reading them, so thanks for being out there! The same goes for Eric's reviews.
Jeremy, Marc and Mike: You guys are all very talented designers and rank among those I look forward to reading about, even in the rare cases when I don't absolutely love a given product.

Thank you, Endzeitgeist!
Your reviews have made me proud when we meet your standard, and make me more determined to improve when Kobold Press falls short. Thank you for being an extremely insightful, honest, and thoughtful reviewer.
Your reviews make our gaming community a better place. Happy holidays, and happy New Year!

Thilo, just as they got you going, you get others going. I assure you that your influence and the fact that you like my work is the only real reason I'm going to be in Amora Game's compilation. Further, a nod from you has helped make the tinker pull in over $1000 gross in a mere eight months. You're paying it forward with every review you make, and the nameless newbies like myself should all thank you profusely.

Thank you so much for all your hard work, EZG. I'll agree with Wolfgang that your honest and insightful reviews make the gaming community a much better place.
Not many could do what you do with such dedication, consistency, and insight. As a writer and editor, I truly appreciate it when you review products I've worked on. Your feedback is invaluable!

Add me to the chorus of Thank Yous as well for the time you spend to always give thoughtful reviews that give us both a great resource to show potential customers as well as excellent feedback on making our products better. Thanks much for all you do not just for Legendary Games but for every 3PP out there!

@Jeff: Really loved your Gingerbread Golem Swarm, btw. ^^
Aleron, Amanda, Louis, Jason, Bradley: Thank you so much for your kindness! ESPECIALLY since I know that at times being kind to one's critics can be HARD...so thank you! I hope I can continue to contribute to the growth and prosperity of 3pps!

@Jeff: Really loved your Gingerbread Golem Swarm, btw. ^^
Thanks. You can actually thank Christina for that one. It was her original Gingerbread Golem pdf that made me break out the Advanced Bestiary and turn it into a swarm. I'm just a guy that likes lots of cookies rather than just one big cookie.

Hey End, since it was YOUR suggestion to release The Slumbering Tsar Saga over time and crowd-fund it (before Kickstarter was a popular venue) and Frog God Games wouldn't exist without Slumbering Tsar... well... I kinda think of you as the grit in the center of the FGG pearl. But just in the good way. <grin>

I have to concur. I know when I see something specifically called out in your reviews, for either a project I've worked on, or someone else's, it's an opportunity to make better material.
Thank you for taking the time, it's obviously no small investment, and one we all appreciate a great deal!
Have a great holiday, End. :)

Thanks for all the reviews...and your website. I check that daily now, not just for reviews, but also to see what's out there and what other people are doing. It's very convenient! Looking forward to next year and a review of "Against the Cult of the Bat God," my first foray into adventure writing. Happy holidays!

Wow. Now I'm even more humbled. *sniff* RiP, SGG (read: Your classes!) and Open Design made me dive into pathfinder, shortly after that followed by Raging Swan Press. So yeah, I'm kind of indirectly your creature as well, Owen. ^^
Blimey! That's brilliant. I'm delighted Raging Swan has had a small hand in your reviewing odyssey! Thank you for all your reviews. Long may they continue!

Thank YOU, sir!
Any time that someone devotes time and effort into a review for one of our products (especially to the magnitude that you do!) is an honor. Your reviews help bring people into the realm of 3PP use and we thank you for it and your continued service for as long as you are interested in doing it!

Adding my many thanks to the legion of others, both publishers and players, GMs and general public who find a certain security and standard in your well thought out and considered reviews.
I particularly like that you are not afraid to play to your own strengths and identify your playstyle and preferences - a better foil could not be found for 3PP releases. I don't laways agree with every participle of each review, but I at least understand where you are coming from!
Dankeschön End!

I've seriously got something in my eye. *sniff* Thank you, ladies and gentlemen - I bow to your kindness.
My regular reviewing will resume after Christmas with either a fey-day or monster-books, not yet sure which. But thank you, each and every one of you. There are a lot of names here that make reviewing worthwhile for me and many more fine folk whom I've come to appreciate. Also: Thanks to everyone who wrote me a line, either here, via PM or my site. *takes a bow*
Here's to 2014 and to hoping I'll finally catch up with some of the big ones that have rested on my backburner.
Cheers!

EZG, your reviews are what inspired me to spend some hard earned cash on that many 3PP products.
Whenever I hear about a product, I go and check your review of it. I always appreciate reading all the details and well-informed opinions you put there.
But really, it has come to the point when reading about 5 stars and your seal of approval is enough by itself to put a product on my to-buy list.
You do an amazing work and you are a great boon to our community of gamers and authors.
And thank you very much, End, for the very well-done and informative reviews you post online. I really do think you set the gold standard for what reviews should be.
Actually, I think EZG's work is the nigh unreachable standard of reviewers. IMO, he has likely obtained demigod status already. Still waiting at my altar for the domains spells though ;-)
No disrespect for other reviewers, very far from it. The mere fact that you girls and guys spend that much time writing down your feelings and impressions in an easy to read format is very impressive AND immensely helpful.

Amora Game |

I am late in seeing this, and to echo above...
Amora Game would not have ever stepped up it's game if you had never reviewed our first product. Things we thought we knew, were modified and expanded into our knowledge pool and perspective of what a good product should be. So thank you.
Also as a player, I have bought other 3PP products based on reviews and have even learned from them (and have had some freaking awesome games!)
There was a door I never knew was there until that first review. With each product I feel I have traveled a further distance and would never have, without your feedback.
Happy Holidays to you Sir.
~Greg
