I think that magic missile is a weak spell to specialize in. Dazing metamagic calls for either the failure of the spell's regular saving throw, or a special will saving throw if there is no save like magic missile. Just take a conjuration spell that does damage (stone call is really good here).
Don't blast for damage if you're not a specialized blaster so get rid of empower spell.
Spell focus conjuration and augment summoning still are really going to help you. remember that starting at monster summoning 3, you can summon monsters with spells.
Arcane bond ring: consider a familiar and the Improved familiar feat. you get more actions that way. You can even wear the Cassisian angel as a hat and it matches your alignment if you're taking eyes and ears of the city.
The once spell from the ring isnt much of a bonus and the massive penalty for losing the ring is a hell of a penalty.Traits: Eyes and ears of the city, reactionary.
Familiar: Greensting scorpion then HarbingerHere are 10 levels of feats
H Improved Initiative
1W spell focus (conjuration) (replaces scribe scroll in PFS and you said no crafting)
1 Toughness
3 Augment Summoning
5 Spell Penetration
5W Dazing Spell
7 Improved Familiar (Harbinger Archon)
9 Greate Spell Focus (conjuration)
10W Quicken SpellWhy would I back off of magic missile? Your party is going to hit hard. You don't have to waste your time plinking. Be versatile.
I like what you have suggested, but I'm limited to the core book and apg. And the little angel familiars aren't in them, nor is the greensting.
The best I can do with a familiar would be either a pseudodragon or a mephit. And I'm not sure either of these are really going to help me much.

So... the after game recap.
I got obliterated. How did it play out? Read on.
We were investigating some cases of ghosts and spirits in these woods. Well, as we approached, I got to Knowledge Arcana it, and the entire region was covered in a Teleportation Trap. And that any kind of teleporting whatsoever (Ya know, what I built the character around)and he'd end up trapped in some stone sarcophagus to die a slow and horrible death of starvation and thirst, so, yay a good start.
I used a rope trick for us to sleep in, but after about an hour, the druid, who was on watch woke us to let us know we had company incoming. We all roll on out, and 3 advanced ghasts come charging in out of the darkness. I'm flying at this point, because...well, that is my best mobility while denied teleports.
While the group is dealing with them, I get charged at by 2 vampire spawn, who keep moving to flank. I managed to get off mirror image and then my summon monster 4, and got 3 lantern archons. Between them, some handy magic missiles, and a couple shots from our archer npc we brought with us, the spawn were dispatched. And my guy wasn't even injured.
In the mean time, while the rest of the party was fighting the ghasts, a Black Tentacles erupted and started grappling the whole party. We couldn't tell from where it had come from, so I directed my archons to aid the party, it helped mitigate the damage they were taking rather well.
One of the party at this point, the fight/rogue, got dominated. And told to attack one of the others. All of them were still in the Black Tentacles still.
Finally, the big reveal, as the BBEG comes into range of the darkvision I got running at this point, and he scorching rays at me. One hits, one takes out another image. The vamp is already flying, too.
After some struggling by the party, they manage to get free, while the archer NPC is trying to stop the fighter/rogue from attacking our own party. The paladin is feeling helpless, pretty much, not wearing any armor, no shield, just his longsword, while the big nasty is in the air.
I tried to use my dazing MM, but apparently he already had shield cast because it did nothing, and then, he cast deeper darkness...
That is when things went from haphazard to horrendous. Because apparently he was a level 8+ tiefling vampire shadow-bloodline sorcerer. And decided that I'd be his first victim. He missed his first slam and took out my last image. But when I tried to move away he AoOd me, bam, 2 negative levels.
I cast vanish, he fireballed the party. I had had my lil archons get a few hits in on him, but the fireball ate them. At this point, the party tries to scatter...but can't see, in difficult terrain, through the forest.
I started trying to get away too, but he cast see invisibility next, and then proceeded to catch up to me, and AoO me again now at 4 negative levels. So I go straight up through the treetops and just for a second get to see the night sky again, and he catches back up (I'm hasted, he isn't) And so try to run, and get pretty far, but again, another AoO and now at 6 negative levels... I'm now too far for him to catch... so,
Then he casts fireball. And my last 2 hp go poof.
I skimmed a few rounds from the story, brief summary style. The fight itself was about 3.5 hours long, lol.
I really like how the character played, for the most part. I felt really effective up until the Vamp Sorc locked me in his target sights.
We didn't have any means, with us, to counter the deeper darkness. That was our downfall. Well, our major mistake, there was a few lesser mistakes too. But, I managed to lead the vamp off far enough that the rest of the party managed to escape with their lives. So, that's a plus at least.
It was a fun, though short, ride. Considering it was roughly a CR 10 or 11 encounter, at night, in difficult terrain, and after a full days worth of travel/ minor encounters... just having anyone survive seems like a win, in my eyes.
Like I said, I had a feeling this campaign would be bloody and brutal.
Time to roll up another character, haha.

Oftentimes flying doesn't help, it just makes you an obvious target. I would have gone back to ground next to the paladin. The black tentacle damage would be less that major hits from the BBEG. If the BBEG followed you, then the paladin could hit him. The paladin's aura, heals, and mercies might have also benefited you some (depending upon what he took).
But glad you had fun.
What are you looking to build next?

So... the after game recap.
I got obliterated. How did it play out? Read on.
** spoiler omitted **...
Ouch sorry that. Still...that is NOT a low magic world. Only for the PCs.
And I would have gone with the lesser selective.
Given the type of encounter...if this is indicative of the gamestyle I probably would not come back...or if I did, I'd go admixture evoker.
Level 7 party right?
Let's see. Vampire Sorc (assuming min level 8 for BT) CR 9.
Customized spell list to specifically deal with your party...+1 CR.
Customized terrain to specifically negate your class ability: +1 CR.
3 advanced ghasts CR5
2 vampire spawn CR5.
Between those +5 mobs action economy, another +1 CR.
Party at low-magic, -1 APL
So around CR 12 or APL+5. If not higher.
Okay so the GM decided to wipe the party. I am not sure but almost sounds like he runs combat-heavy optimized encounters against a player characters he doesn't allow to optimize OR you must min-max to make up the handicaps he forces on you. Hope the story was good. Not my thing though. At least it wasn't 'rocks fall you die' but that would have saved 3 1/2 hours.

Yep. I'll be rerolling myself an admixture evoker. Screw it, I'll just blow stuff up.
I'll grab a selective rod, and... well, lots of fireballing.
As to BT, there is no way my guy would have got out of those, haha. They'd have just killed him. And the only reason the BBEG wasn't simply fireballing the group on repeat was that he was trying to focus on me. So, sort of a win? /shrug The paladin was unarmored, and I didn't want to drag the vampire over to him, as he was even more vulnerable to being torn apart than I was. Most of his attacks on me missed, it only took 3 to give me 6 negative levels >.<
It was a weird session, and I'm not entirely sure everyone was pleased with it. But, I have patience and am willing to try it again. This time with much less thought or energy put into it... just blast, dead stuff is xp, after all.
But yeah, for a low magic campaign, I certainly wasn't expecting to face cr 11/12 ish stuff, especially a higher level sorc.

Good luck:) Blowing stuff up does feel good!
Remember to change a few letters of the name like Tolkien did when he killed of Boromir;)
