Sorcerer Bloodline Power

Rules Questions

alot of sorcerer abilities say d4+1 per every 2 sorcerer levels. does that mean the entire d4+1 goes up or just the +1??

Just the +1, unfortunately. Those might be somewhat useful powers if they scaled.

TCG is correct.

At Level
2=1d4+1
4=1d4+2
6=1d4+3
etc...

Still not completely useless. And can help get you past the difficult first few levels. But later on, you will probably rarely use them.

If it's fire damage you can use it to start a campfire or something.

Just the +1

The formula is D4 + your sorcerer level/2 the minimum value being D4 +1.

Just the +1 increases.

Example, the Aberant Bloodline's Acidic Ray bloodline power does "1d6 points of acid damage + 1 for every two sorcerer levels you possess." This means that at 1st level, the ray deals 1d6 acid damage, and 2nd and 3rd it deals 1d6+1, and 4th and 5th it's 1d6+2, etc.

If the power does not specify a minimum (for which Acidic Ray is one example), then you'd get no bonus to the damage at 1st level because of the rounding rules.
