And speaking of previews, how about a little nugget from the nearly-on-the-threshold Gothic Campaign Compendium? Happy reading!

This should work: Gothic Campaign Compendium
I really can't wait to get my hands on the finished book. Alpha PDF is just a tease :)

Okay, I got Mythos, and am planning on getting Oozes Too too (heh) (oozes are one of my favorite types).
May I make a suggestion? While I like (and will use) the monsters themselves, the part that I find even more useful and interesting are the new monster powers, and associated rules. I'm sort of hoping that some of the future MM supplements will include more mini-rules-expansions for adding that type of creature to the game. But in a published monster stat block what I'm especially looking for are new SAs/SQs to add to my library of universal monster rules.
Then again, maybe that isn't the focus of the MM line...maybe what I'm looking for would be better suited to its own product (something like Mythic Monster Special Abilities).

The print products, they are all racked up to send. The post office awaits tomorrow!
Meanwhile, though, we are cooking up something brand-new at Legendary Games. Something we haven't mentioned before in any previews, but something we've been working on for a while.
In the immortal words of the Fabulous Floop, sometimes to accomplish something BIG, you have to go ________. More to come tomorrow!

I like your stuff and it's great that you've got more irons in the fire. But..... Ultimate War?
Cheers
Mark
I appreciate your interest and I'd like to get it done too. Alas, I've hit a bit of a design block on a couple of pieces that I thought were going to work together and don't seem like they're going to work the way I want them to. In my experience, the best solution to a block like that is not to stare at the monitor in frustration but to work on some other things and come back with a fresh mind. I think some good solutions are coming together but need a bit more time to get things nailed down.
I'm a firm believer in the notion that you release a product when it's ready. My school will be out for winter break starting next week, so I should have some good writing time in there to work out the kinks that have been eluding me as I clear out the low-hanging fruit on my virtual desk.
I appreciate your patience with the vagaries of the creative process. We are in the Sitzkrieg right now, but the Blitzkrieg is not far away...

Glad to hear the good news. Better to wait a little longer than have Ultimate War be rushed and not so great. That said, I am looking forward to its release VERY much!

BEHOLD - the latest brainstorm from Legendary Games - MYTHIC MINIS. Same Legendary awesomeness, now travel-sized for your convenience, and laser-focused on exactly what you want to see for mythic rules!
Check out our website for the details. First products in this line available this week!
| PathlessBeth |
Well, I think these "minis" are likely to break my streak of getting every mythic product you put out. I know that a large collection of $1 products can pile up in price without me noticing, so I tend to avoid lines of $1 products most of the time. Add to that the fact that RGG just released mythic versions of all core feats for only $5, and it looks like you are only including a few per "mini", and they don't seem like such a good deal overall. I'll likely just get the "minis" if a player asks me if they can use a particular thing from a particular mini (which is easier to do than for entire books). I'd also be open to getting compilations...

In the past we've avoided doing $1 products, but for mythic feats, path abilities, and similar things it seems like an ideal spot to do products in that way. There is a theoretically infinite amount of stuff that one could convert, but actually finding logical ways to group them together isn't necessarily easy. If you aren't doing encyclopedic compilations, you can end up with products that feel like jumbled-up grab bags of a little of this and a little of that.
The idea here is instead to offer focused products so if it's something you want, bang you get it. If it's something you don't, pass and don't worry about it and check out the next one. It's the classic dilemma of a product; if it has 50% content you want and 50% you don't care about do you buy the whole thing for the stuff you want, or do you skip the whole thing because you don't want to pay for the stuff you don't?
It feels like a good match of product content and format, but time will tell. I hope you'll find some of them worth your while and give them a look!

Nick Logue turned in most of his stuff yesterday, with one stat block yet to go, and Boomer should have his to me in a couple of days. We have one art piece still in process, but we are fast approaching done-ness!

New ULTIMATE UPDATE coming your way!

As a quick update, after running into some hiccups in the production cycle, most of our intended January releases are hastening toward their conclusion. Our two main layout guys are very nearly done with the River Kings Campaign Compendium (sounded less clunky than "Kingdom-Building Campaign Compendium") and Far East Campaign Compendium, and once those are out the door to the Kickstarter backers they'll be turning around and getting Unrighteous Villains and Mythic Monsters: Abyssal down the pipeline in short order. I'm still hammering away on Ultimate War as my writing time allows, but an exceptionally busy stretch at my school (and the happy distraction of the Seahawks making the Super Bowl) has slowed me down a bit. The work continues apace, however, and it will be done as soon as it can be.
Meanwhile, our planned February releases are also nearing completion, and I've got a couple of very interesting additions to the Legendary team coming down the pike in the near future. Let's just say that the Legendary Logue was not by a long shot the last one you'll be meeting. :)

Personally, I *love* Legacy of Fire. It was the first AP I worked on, and I was a huge Al-Qadim fan back in the day and really enjoy that flavor. However, in the grand scheme of APs while it has its partisans like me that love it, I'm not sure it has enough of a broad-based following to make it worth the time investment for us to create a product line around it.
That said, keep working to drum up support. If we see a groundswell of interest, we may revisit the idea. I have a bunch of ideas... :)

The issue is just that we only have so much time to go around, so we need to find the things where we have great passion for the idea, and also where we think there's a strong demand for it. If the choice is between two projects that both sound awesome to do but one seems likely to sell well and the other one is much more chancy, that can help us decide which exciting project to do.
Speaking of projects - our last Kickstarter compilations have been delivered, and we begin the march towards the next one!

Let it never be said that demons were the beginning or the end of CHAOS and EVIL in the outer planes. Check out Mythic Monsters VIII: Abyssal to find mythic versions of the godless demodands, the eldritch elder evil of the qlippoth, and even more savage abyssal enemies like the baregara, bebilith, howler, and kakuen-taka!
Available right now exclusively from Legendary Games and starting this Friday on our partner sales sites, including right here at Paizo!

I posted this on FB status announcing Abyssal, but any chance we'll get Mythic Undead and Devils soon?
(please say yes, please say yes, please say yes)
Also, around how long will it be before Mythic Inner Planes gets a hard copy? I just got Mythic Demons in the mail today, and kinda wanna get any others in physical form as well.
Finally, I will totally get Abyssal eventually as well, also once it is available physically.
