carrying more then one twohanded weapon

Advice

Just wondering how you guys "fluff" to justify it? My line of thinking is i wanted to use greatsword, but a blunt twohander would be nice as well

Silver Crusade

Barring magical storage, strapped to back in an "X" fashion generally with no game penalty (reality pushed aside) to drawing them out.

Grand Lodge

A very large golf bag.

Silver Crusade

My fluff: As a martial character, I know that some weapons are more effective than others against certain creatures. (Just as a knight would have known to pierce or crush plate armor as opposed to slashing it.) So I carry different types of weapons - B, P, and S, depending on the situation.

Is that what you mean? Or do you mean physically carrying more than one on your person?

2 handed sword, use a greatclub as a "walking stick". Free action to drop. have a spiked gauntlet if you need to do (P)

ya that last one is about as best as my group has been able to come up with Darkwarriorkarg

Large (2 handed) weapons would typically be worn over the back on a sling. Imagine a leather trap with a metal ring at each end. One end of the strap goes around the pommel of your great sword or haft of the axe and the other end goes around the scabbard or blade point.

Game mechanics... simply use one hand to knock the bottom ring off the weapon while using the other to lift it over your shoulder and come 'en garde.'

Realistically, you don't quick draw a zweihander or a great axe, but realism and game mechanics are traditional enemies anyway. Just carry one at the ready all the time while you keep the other strapped over your back.
