Dark lord

Hey, I was thinking what class would make a good dark lord? Kinda like darth sidious?

make light sabre in to a sword. maybe like a sith sword.

umm how would you think his jumping abilities turn out like?

I think you could do a fair job with modelling any jedi/sith as a combination flowing/qinggong monk. If you use psychic rules, psychic warrior is even better.

Of course, he'll need a shocking keen vorpal temple sword.

Do everything u can to make his acrobatics skill absurdly high. Go into duelist.

RAW, there's no max to how high you can jump as long as you roll high enough.

Magus. Then get that one arcana that lets you add the Brilliant energy enchant to your signature weapon. Mix and match your spells to simulate "force powers".

If you want to truly play Emperor Palpatine, then Enchantment/Necromancy focused Wizard is the way to go, most likely Enchantment specialist with Necromancy for some of the darker Force powers, and at least Shocking Grasp. Yet another problem of the prequel movies, the man should have never drawn a lightsaber. It wasn't his strength. He plays people against each other like a chess board.

EDIT: And unlike some wizard builds you see, Charisma is at least moderately important for his ability to charm people with or without The Force. Strength would be your dump stat, if you need one.

I totally agree! Far too much was shown in the prequels instead of letting us use our imagination. Same with Yoda! One of the things I love about the original trilogy is how inconceivable it was that Yoda was this great warrior. I don't want to actually see him fighting! Ruins the mystery.

Sorcerer. All the way. They will never know your true abilities, not until you are hosting a BBQ and light show with their corpse.

Before the big reveal, they will only see you as an commoner, expert, or aristocrat.
