question on Feats for a gestalt build.

I am going with a Dragonrider and a Fighter gestalt. what is better to set up my feat tree for 20 levels.

I am thinking of going with a power attack 2 handed, or a archery path?

Human (I think 21 feats?) Please select on the feats. Any traits that might help? 3x traits?

It's 22 (10 from odd levels, 10 from even fighter levels , 1 from first fighter, 1 from human.

I'd suggest going for a mounted combat lance build; have you considered Cavalier?

Would an Archetype be better than a normal cavalier. The basic cavalier looks weak of choice?

I believe there are few archetypes of the cavalier that are worth looking into.

After thinking about it, Dragon Rider is a martial class so it might be best to look elsewhere. IE since Dragon Rider has full BAB, gestalting with another full-BAB class will just be wastefully doubling up.

What other 3rd-party classes are available?

Oracle might be a good bet, get some extra healing for you and your dragon. Or Witch; hex and cast from afar while your dragon flies down and attacks, take some archery feats too.

Hmm; but Dragon Riders use Charisma...

Do you want to be a caster or a fighter? Archer or charger or big-honking-sword?

Probably the best thing to do is tell us what you want to gain from your character. Dragon Rider is an extremely flexible class to gestalt with, it covers all the numeric bases.

Oracle would be good as would sorcerer. Ninja would work well. Paladin would work really well. Really there's a ton of directions you can go with Dragonrider // ???
