Milk and Butter

Advice

Is there any book that lists cost for milk and butter? This sounds silly, but someone with Profession (cook) cant live without those!. Does Ultimate Campaign have those (plan on getting one anyway, but this would be another reason).

Sovereign Court

And here's the UE entry in PRD form. Though, in all honesty, I would count this as a set of MW Tools for Profession (Cook) with the limited charges drawback.

I copy/pasted the UE list:P

Quite the useful list. Is this in the SRD as well?

Spellcasters casting grease can ignore the cost of the butter they need.
I'd say buy a cooking bag supply for the same cost of a spell component pouch and you always have enough milk and butter to use for cooking unless you want to cook for 20+ people at once.

Would be a houserule but as no cost is given...

Clearly since no cost is given milk and butter don't exist. Cow udders simply produce cheese (as that does exist).

Seriously though, a brief google search showed it requires between 5 to 10 lbs of milk to make 1 lb of cheese. I would suggest that since a half pound of cheese costs 1 sp, that 2.5 lbs of milk costs 1sp as well, 2.5 lbs is about 1 liter of milk.

Silver Crusade

Milk 5 cp 1/2 lb... its in the list posted above. Though I do not recall ever seeing a price for butter...

But this is the Advice part of the messageboard:

Advice:
Move on with the adventure. Does one REALLY need this level of fine detail? Just pay a flat rate for "ingredients" or "masterwork ingredients" and move on.

Look like missed milk in my searches. Still no butter tho :)

Yogurt 1/2 lb is pretty much the same
