I believe that question belongs in the <ASK AN ADHERER *ANYTHING!*> thread, that does not, and should not exist.

Why are the washer and dryer two separate machines?

The dryer’s heater piece has exceptional cooking and airflow requirements that prevent most modern washers from qualifying (without extensive and expensive engineering) in order to avoid catching fire.

Gary Teter wrote:

Because we live on the surface of a round rock floating in empty, dead, black space. Being continuously at the same radius from the center of our rock implies the gravitational field we experience is "constant". The word "constant" is in quotes because this implies the Guage Field we experience daily is flat. Living in a flat Guage Field induces a linear-derivative of time; this is a hand-wavy way of saying, because we live on the surface of a rock in empty, dead, black space we experience dt/dt = 1, which is a constant.

Additionaly, and oddly, time goes forward exactly one year per one year too. In the context of a 13 Billion year old/diameter universe, it doesn't have to be this way. So, maybe we should be pleasantry surprised and happy with our constant time flow. Because this laminar time flow could have made it possible for biological evolution to take place, all leading to our existence.

Note, the above is pure materialism, so beware because the enemy wants to separate us from God.

No it does not know. But there could be a boolean variable indicating (is-base-detected-p).

I'm pretty sure roomba is coded in Scheme.

If an employeer allowed this, they would have to remember to pay pay-roll tax, or it would be illegal. The IRS is just a caliphate of a different religious affiliation.

In general no, because the wave frequency is always changing. But you could get lucky every one in a long, long while.
