What’s the difference between “grey” and “gray”?

Late to this one, but one has an Earl AND describes a Poupon, while the other is just a color in American English.

The seeds give them flatulence.

So little old ladies who like a cup of tea can hear them even when they turn their hearing aids off.

Are my glasses preventing me from seeing through walls?

Yes.

The shutters on the front help reduce glare and keep your eyes cool in summer, but also impede your x-ray vision. It's the lead lining, you see.

Is regularly carrying 54 lbs up and down a flight of stairs that much worse than carrying 42 lbs?

If that additional weight is a part of you ... Mmm ... *maybe* not.

Though some would call a 12lb reduction a mighty good start.

What is the best way to eat whatever it is they are making down there that smells so good?

Scarab Sages

Step 1. Go down and see/ask what they're cooking.
Step 2. Ask me how to make/buy it.
Step 3. Make/buy it.
Step 4. Profit!!!

No, but since they eat plenty of fibre, they do have a well-regulated militia.

Build a transporter, duplicate a few chokes, and keep the pattern in active memory.

Also works on fat juicy kobolds.

Headache and no time, so no real formatting, but:

Short commentary: it's a real problem related to rocketry (see the Tsiolkovsky rocket equation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsiolkovsky_rocket_equation ) even if the specifics are different. The weight of fuel has long been an issue with travel, though - in ye olden times the "fuel" was "human power" and "shoving more humans into a box" didn't really work that well past a certain point.

Gary Teter wrote:

I'm not sure, but we all seem to have similar postures for pride and shame:

https://www.nationalgeographic.com/science/phenomena/2008/08/13/blind-olymp ic-athletes-show-the-universal-nature-of-pride-and-shame/

... so it may be a universal thing, but I couldn't find much on a quick search.

And now - to nurse a pounding head with Tylenol.

Is it safe to use seawater to boil pasta?

I feel like that's probably a quick Google search away, but since I, too, do not feel like doing so, I'm just gonna say that it heavily depends on which sea you get it from, from where within that sea, and whether or not you boil it and skim before the pasta.

But that's just a big 'maybe.'
