How many great ideas have I had in the shower that I was positive I'd remember that I have since forgotten that would have made me a wealthy man?

About as many as I have had late at night.

Notepad by the bed for Justin F., dry-erase markerboard hanging on the wall outside the stall for Gary.

How should I really be visualizing all those extra "tightly curled up" dimensions described by string theory? Assume that as a software developer I am used to visualizing n-dimensional parameter spaces.

Is there an iPhone app or no-registration website that does this: type in items with context-sensitive autocomplete; understands that humans want to see "Milk" and not full sku/product name; select grocery store (closest Fred Meyer); sorts items by location in store for my preferred route pattern); one-thumb navigation for checking off items; configurable display (num items, size) for item check off; one-thumb barcode scanner/lookup (add/remove from list; bump quantity; check off item; price/nutrition check)?

You can't get there from here

Is there a URL and a scratch off pin on the back of your grocery store's "rewards" "membership" card that allows you to use their servers to anonymously track your own purchases and download them in a useful format for importing wherever you want?

How crazy do I have to be to keep typing these questions on the phone and hitting "submit post" without even a select all/copy for pasting just in case any of the many points of failure between here and a saved post go down?

How many independent points of failure are there between me clicking "submit post" and a successful new post?

How many of those are due to surveillance-related equipment?

What's a good size and unit to use for describing an "anthro-centric" light cone or range comprising the useful/relevant area of space-time for any people that lack FTL travel?

Huh.

I thought it would be like this .

At what point is the population of a generation slowship inside its own "anthro-centric" light cone?

After the catastrophic failure of the dark matter containment system.

I still say that they're a kind of sprinkle.

I avoid that quandry by crewing the entire slowship with housecats.

How hard would it be to crowdsource and automate a thread like this via another "ask all your questions here" thread and favorite counts to select questions to post?

Do you need more than one? Are they branded or personality? How much friction is in place within the community to the incoming waves of the popularity contest, the underdog, the vulgar "reality"-driven endless cable guilty pleasures which are of course ubiquitous yet still carry the (surely faux) stigma of that "guilty" label,

Provide growth curve shapes and relevant control functions; append standard citations for justifications for functions and parameters selected; projections should cover short and long-term scenarios with as many realistic branching options on as many discrete distinctions as necessary to demonstrate adequate command of the art.

Please do not neglect the monetization aspects of these projects. "After the zombies have been eradicated or quarantined, we will take their vacant houses" was deemed mildly unethical—but demerits nearly doubled when it became clear the advocated position was in favor of creating and unleashing the apocalypse virus.

I think it is the other way around. As in names come from words for things in languages long since forgotten.

For all we know "Gary" could mean "Cool looking rock over there"

Only one.

The rest were kinda lame and certainly not as profitable as they seemed.

That one though...man, you really blew that one...

You shouldn't worry about it. Anything that requires that level of complexity to explain outcomes is a modern day version of Ptolemic Epicycles.

Instead spend that time trying to remember that idea you forgot.

What is the square footage of leafy material required for me to be able to completely recycle my breath? Could I crumple it to maximize its surface area to volume? Could I carry it around?
