My guess is yes. I can't find anywhere that explicitly says it but the Worldwound book repeatedly talks about it being infused with Abyssal energy. If you read all the nasty in there like storms and strange skies for starters I'm giving it to my players as an option. This also means that Demons can't be banished or dismissed from there though, which I know they haven't realized.

That was more or less my thoughts....although I hadn't considered the use of dismissal or banishment.
I'll have to give that some thought as well ;(

There was another thread on this topic... anyhow i think the only place in the world wound that might possibly be considered part of the abyss is the actual physical chasm that is a tear in reality.
Having all of the world woujd be considered part of the abyss would make favoured terrain pretty strong. Although a hotizon walker with te favoured terrain boots is still going to be a demon killling machine.

I think I asked James Jacobs this question in the Ask JJ anything thread. But wherever it was, he said that the WW has different terrain types, and is not Plane (Abyss). Although that is likely to be a useful FT eventually.
