Lawful barbarian


Rules Questions


What happens if a barbarian becomes lawful? I know some class that lose alignment restriction lose class features ie paladin and other ie monk retain previously learned but cant continue in the class. Nowhere
I can find states what happens to a barbar that becomes lawful any ideas?

It is at the end of the Barbarian class write-up in the Core Rulebook. I think the paragraph headers is "Ex-Barbarians".


@David: just checked, it's not there. (my CRB is 3rd printing)


I dont see a paragrapgh labeled ex barbarians


found it in the errata: this is from 3rd to 6th. others are linked on the product page.

Weird I see it on the prd, but it wasnt in my crb thanks everyone.

It was definitely in the 3.5 PHB but apparently got left out of the earliest printings of the Core Rulebook. Maybe the Paizo folks were thinking of dropping the Barbarian alignment restriction during the initial development of Pathfinder? Then the Ex-Barbarian statement would not be needed.

I obviously must have been looking through a later printing when I found that bit, since my personal copy is a first printing that would have left it out.


Nothing SHOULD happen, however.
