So earlier on in hero lab I was messing around with a Martial Artist 1/ Barbarian 2 with the Brawler rage power.
Now being a medium sized monk that gave me Improved Unarmed Strike and a 1d6 unarmed strike, so when I activate my rage in hero lab it increases the damage die to 2d6.
Is this legal or it is a bug in hero lab?

Looks like a bug to me.
I'm still unsure about it because at the looks of it; it's increasing the damage die by 2 steps;
Modifier Unarmed Strike Damage
Medium 1d3
+1 Die 1d4
+2 Die 1d6 Monk standard or with Raging with Brawler
+3 Die 1d8
+4 Die 2d6 Monk + Raging with Brawler
So I guess its a question of do they stack or not?
As argument for them to stack I believe that while raging Brawler causes the unarmed strike to deal 1d6 then they are increased by the monk level by 2 steps to 2d6.

You're trying to infer rules function from what a 3rd party computer program does.
The program can do whatever it wants to, but that doesn't change the actual rules.
Monk UAS specifies it's damage based on your size and class level, NOT as an increase in die tiers.
Brawler works likewise, there is no increase upon preexisting stats by so many die tiers, it just sets the damage die to a certain level.
So both together don't really do anything.

Thanks for clarifying it for me.

Go ahead with the Monk1/BarbarianX thing though (Martial Artist or not, I prefer 'Ex-Monks' myself),
it's otherwise a great build even though the particular Rage Power you identified is pointless with it.
Great for if you want to fit Grappling into a STR Surge Brutal Pugilist Barbarian build, for example, with nice Saves to boot.

Also, animal Aspect(Gorilla), being a polymorphing effect, does not stack with effects that increase size (which enlarge person does).
In response to NN959, martial artists (an archetype) can be any alignment.
So at best you are increasing your unarmed strike damage by 3 steps (strong jaw + animal aspect (gorilla)) 2d10 -> 4d8 -> 6d8 -> 8d8, which isn't bad and leads to 32d8 on greater vital strike (don't forget furious finish and rage cycling which lets you do 256 damage guaranteed as a standard action).

Ex-Monks don't lose abilities, they just can't further progress in Monk levels (while non-Lawful).
There's no reason you can't start the game at 0 XP as an Ex-Monk with non-Lawful Alignment, and take Barbarian or Anti-Paladin (CE) levels.
Aasimar (or Humans w/ Racial Heritage Feat) with the Enlightened Warrior Race Trait can progress as NG Monks which is Barb-compatable.
Martial Artist Archetype has no Alignment restriction at all.

Yup, even though Enlarge Person is not a Polymorph effect itself,
and Animal Aspect isn't changing your Size, the Polymorph rules still apply:
In addition, other spells that change your size have no effect on you while you are under the effects of a polymorph spell.
Any spell that changes your Size is cancelled out in totality, not just the part that changes your Size.
