How to calculate save DC?

Rules Questions

On a level 5 elven wizard with a 22 INT?

10+ caster level + int bonus?

So, for a level 1 spell, the save DC is 19 because 10 + 1 + 6 + 2 from my elven racial ability?

Do I get a bonus to that also from the spell penetration feat?

If it's from a school of magic in which I have spell focus, the DC would be 20 instead of 19?

Thanks.

Spell DC is 10+ Spell Level + INT modifier.

So a level 1 spell will have 10+1+6= 17 DC/18 DC with Spell Focus.

Spell Penetration adds a +2 bonus to defeat Spell Resistance, if the target has SR. Being Elven gives you a +2 to overcome Spell resistance and stacks with Spell Pen/Greater Spell Pen feats.

Ten plus Casting Stat Modifier plus Spell Level, plus miscellaneous things that say they apply to spell DCs (like spell focus).

Elves do not have an ability that increases save DC.

Spell penetration affects rolls to overcome Spell Resistance; it has nothing to do with save DCs.

Spell Focus does, indeed, increase the save DCs by 1. So, if your Level 5 Elf casts a 1st level spell, your save DC is ...

10
+6 (Casting Stat Modifier)
+1 (Spell Level)
+1 (Spell Focus)
----
18

DC is modified by the level of the spell being cast, not the level of the person performing the casting.

If the elven racial ability you are referring to is "Elven Magic," it does nothing to adjust saving throws. It provides a bonus to overcome your target's spell resistance.

Spell penetration does nothing to adjust saving throws. It also, however, assist with beating your target's spell resistance.

Spell focus indeed does increase the DC of saving throws of spells from a specific school of magic.

An Elf Wizard (of any level) with +6 INT will have the following DCs for spell saving throws:

Lv0 -> 16
Lv1 -> 17
Lv2 -> 18
Lv3 -> 19
Lv4 -> 20
Lv5 -> 21
Lv6 -> 22
Lv7 -> 23
Lv8 -> 24
Lv9 -> 25

Also, any spells cast would get a +2 racial bonus to overcome spell resistance (if applicable.)

Isn't that what the quoted text says?
