Alathar takes a step back, releases an arrow, and brings down the creature.
Continuing on, you follow a descending tunnel down to a small cave. A few small piles of furs laid out like nests near the walls of this small cave.
Stealth 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Stealth 3: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Alathar Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Teskin Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Kalarra Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Jade Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
I have done a general Perception check for everyone—no one notices anything.

Boss Kobold initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Jade initiative: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Kalarra Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Teskin Initiative: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
Alathar Initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Attack 1: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Damage 1: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (5) - 1 = 4
Attack 2: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Damage 2: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (5) - 1 = 4
Attack 3: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Damage 3: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Stealth check to snipe: 1d20 + 15 - 20 ⇒ (5) + 15 - 20 = 0
Suddenly, two kobolds spring out from the sides of the cave, spears lunging.
One aims his spear toward Kalarra, but it misses far wide. Another moves and attacks Teskin, but it misses the mark as well.
From off in the distance, an arrow whizzes toward Jade and sinks into her chest, knocking her to the ground, unconscious.
Jade takes 7 damage, which knocks her to -1 HP. I'll need a stabilization check from her. Also, because Kalarra and Teskin are engaged in combat (and the thing shooting the arrow waited until the kobolds attacked), they do not notice where the arrow came from. Alathar can give me a Perception check to try to find the source of the arrow.

Teskin can now act, though he is in combat with a kobold.

The kobold squeals as the acid burns his skin.
Teskin Kobold: 2/5
Kalarra Kobold: 5/5
Boss Kobold: 24/24
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Stealth: 1d20 + 15 - 20 ⇒ (15) + 15 - 20 = 10
Another arrow flies through the air from atop a rocky pile on the far side of the room (should have mentioned rocks in the last post). It takes Teskin in the chest, and the wizard falls to the ground.
Teskin takes 7 damage from the arrow, which drops him to -1 as well. I can still take a Perception check from Alathar, and Kalarra and Alathar can act. I need a stabilization check from Jade.

Damage 1: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
Attack 2: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Damage 2: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Stealth: 1d20 + 15 - 20 ⇒ (13) + 15 - 20 = 8
Kalarra Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
As Teskin drops, the kobold that was engaged with him charges toward Alathar and attacks, but its spear clinks off the studs on the elf's armor.
Another arrow flies from the distance, this time at Kalarra. It catches her arm, opening a wide wound.
Kalarra takes 5 damage from the arrow. Both Kalarra and Alathar can now see another kobold off into the distance, the source of the arrows.

Well back to 1 hp, I really need to learn to avoid battle.
Kalarra will take a 5 ft step back and throw a bomb at my kobold.
Bomb roll: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Damage roll: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
5 ft splash for 5 points of damage (DC 14 reflex for half damage).

Alathar curses his lack of options as he fires off an arrow at the kobold archer, and finds himself wishing he'd spent longer in training.
If he's more than 30' away, I'll move closer until he's in range, provided it doesn't take me through melee. If I can't get there, remove one attack and damage
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

I can't blame you. It's not like he isn't posting in other threads...
This is not the first gamemaster I've had suddenly vanish from the thread, only to keep posting elsewhere. Just even more annoying because of the multi-level statting.
