Party kind of needs a melee guy that can do some healing. I was thinking an oracle of battle. Thoughts on this?
A lot of the mysteries and revelations seem pretty lame though, and there like two curses without massive drawbacks (haunted and tongues, tongues is debatable depending on whether you use language dependnat spells).
I ended up rolling stats with 15 9 12 17 16 14, in any order.

An oracle or a cleric would work fine.
Are you more focused on healing or melee? If healing, go life mystery. If melee, I've always found metal to be better than battle IMO. You will want to put your highest stat in STR and second highest in CHA.
As for race, look at Suli, Nagaji, or (of course) human. The first two give bonuses in your main stats, whereas the latter gives the always useful bonus feat.

if you plan on healing the language shouldn't be an issue. as for a healing tank oracles can be very good. if you wanted placements for stats i would put them as such:
str 16 to hit things and carry heavy armor
dex 12 get your +1 dex from full plate
con 15 tanks need hp
int 9 you should have a rogue for skill points
wis 14 will saves are important
cha 17 for your spell casting and save dc
for spell selection i would focus on healing, buffing and inflicts.

Question |
Hmm...just took a look at metal. It does look better than battle. I think i will pick that. I want to be more focused on melee, but don't really want to multi class for it.
Never had or wanted to use scrolls, etc in combat....the occasion just hasn't come up yet i guess.
Im guessing i want to pick skill at arms at first level for martial weapons? What weapon should i use (and should i use a shield?). Spell selection ideas?

My anti-paladin2/oracle of battle+ absolutely dominates. Great saves. Once a day smite goodytwoshoe. Heavy armor. Great combat feats with Oracle of Battle and full spellcasting is the bomb. Pick up Magical Knack to have the +2 caster level for spells to make up for the two level paladin dip.
Bring the pain.
