Are there any Monk-Sorcerer Prestige Classes?

Advice

I am considering running a monk/sorcerer in a Skulls and Shackles campaign. Does anyone know of any Monk/sorcerer appropriate prestige classes? I find a lot of arcane caster prestige classes and very few monk prestige classes.

If you're going Zen archer / empyrial sorcerer you could consider arcane archer.

But as to specific monk and arcane prestige classes, none within the pathfinder ruleset that I am aware of.

You could re flavor the Dragon Disciple, but unless you take an Empyreal/Draconic Wildblooded, Crossblooded sorcerer, you're even more MAD as a monk... which is painful.

There's always the 3.5 Enlightened Fist prestige class.

Quigong (sp?) monk can get you somewhat there.

: shrugs :

In 3.5, there was a feat called Ascetic Mage that was one of my go to feats. Probably half the characters I made took it, as it replaced your Wis to Ac with Cha to Ac (plus some other minor crap I never cared about). Absolutely incredible.

Thanks for everyone's advice. I decided on the Empyreal alternate bloodline that lets me use Wisdom instead of Charisma for my sorcerer spells which solved my problem perfectly. Now I just need to explain how a tiefling has a variation on the celestial bloodline.

Some of your ancestors were Demons/Devils, some were Celestials, totally different branches of family tree?
Or a fallen Angel or risen Devil/Demon sort of thing?
Or the Celestial bloodline is not from parentage per se, but 'events' which influenced your formation as a being?
(ala 'exposed to holy energies', which is pretty much in line with the rationale for the Arcane bloodline )

Don't bother. Play an Archon Blooded Asimar instead, which not only makes more sense, but will also be vastly better at being a monk/sorcerer. To fit in well with the Skull & Shackles campaign as a lawful character, keep a GM approved copy of The Pirate's Code on hand.

Not that I've found yet. Though there is a paladin/monk prc.

Oni Spawn would really be better than even the archon blooded aasimar. +2 str, +2 wis, -2 to chr, and alter self as a spell like ability. Score!

-2 CHA (i.e. 2 available attribute points) in exchange for Alter Self once per day. I think that's just about equal.

Tiefling with celestial bloodline? I'm thinking that maybe his grandparents started the old joke that goes "A Tiefling and an Aasimar walk into a bar..." Makes perfect sense to me.

Sure, taking the -2 cha penalty to gain alter self is probably about equal. But trading in a +2 bonus to con for a +2 bonus to str is huge. That is why tiefling is better.

Oops! I read the table wrong and thought archon blooded got +2 STR, +2 WIS. My mistake.
