Heavens Oracle (Society Play) advice on revelations and how well did yours perform?

I was considering this mystery for a controller type caster. But aside from the must-have Awesome Display, the rest of the revelations are somewhat less than stellar.

I read the guides here and they pretty much agree.

Though I can see mantle of moonlight for comic relief versus enemy casters.

If anyone has played a Oracle with the Heavens mystery which revelations did you take and why? And how did an oracle hold up compared to say a cleric? We're a level behind on casting and don't get channel or domains. But it still seems a better choice for a specialist.

Thanks in advance!

awesome display is the reason to go with heavens, you dont need anymore revelations after that.

but since you're asking:

Coat of Many Stars dr5 slashing as amazing for many grapple based creatures.

Lure of the Heavens is amazing, i mean just amazing.

but basically when i was playing my hevens oracle i just dipped 2 levels of oracle and went into ninja, then took the feat that let me move and coupe de grace. that character was brutal, much better then an assassin prestige class character.

color spray, move, coup, next target.

To tag on about the Heavens Options what do you think about a witch/oracle for PFS?

Sovereign Court

What I would suggest is be a Gnome with Spell Focus Illusion and at 6th level go into Veiled Illusionist so that you can get a whole host of Illusion spells. With that I would recommend the Blackened Curse for fire spells. That way you are a full divine caster with a focus on Illusion spells and a decent backup of fire spells.
