The CN creature wouldn't be affected by the smite evil, so you could definitely use smite chaos against it :)
Assuming you meant to ask about a CE creature: It would be affected by both, but I don't believe the effects would stack. You could get the double damage twice, though, if you activate the second smite after the first one has given you that benefit.

Smite Evil does not work on a chaotic neutral creature they're not evil.
If you use Smite Evil on a Chaotic Evil creature, you could also you Smite Chaos on that same creature the next turn. A Paladin HellKnight would be capable of doing such things.
To clarify, I don't believe you would get your charisma bonus to AC or attack twice, but you would get smite damage twice I think. Is this very powerful? Yes, but it only works against very specific opponents, and if you go Paladin 10 HellKnight 10, you still end with a very limited number of times per day for Smite Evil or Smite Chaos. If you blow your load all at once by using both, it should be pretty awesome.

Yeah, I'm not sure exactly why I put CN... But thanks! So I would pretty much smite with one, attack, smite with the other, and attack? (Assuming CE?)

Yeah... Still not sure why I wrote CN. Total mistake on my part. And I was actually thinking of staying full paladin, but using the Eldtritch Heritage feat to get the Arcane Bloodline. That way I get FAR more sites per day (I think it is 1/2 my level plus my charisma modifier ON TOP OF the sites I get for being a paladin).
By the way, would you know if I have to start a character with a core class? Like can I start off a second character as a Hell Knight, or would I have to start off as something like fighter, and then go through the full HK leveling system.

How do you get a smite chaos ability from Eldritch Heritage and the Arcane Bloodline? I think maybe there's something I'm missing here.
I'm not sure if there's an explicit rule that says you can't take a prestige class at 1st level, but every prestige class I've seen has some entry requirements which can't be met at 1st level.

If Hellknight were an archetype, then you could start the game with it. There are currently no such archetypes printed. Instead, there is a Hellknight prestige class presented in the supplemental articles of Council of Thieves, and a more current Hellknight prestige class in the Inner Sea World Guide. I think this makes more sense, given the variety of backgrounds (fighters, rangers, paladins) they hail from.

I certainly have been making plenty of mistakes on this messageboard. I meant the Divine Bloodline.

Ok, that's from a 3rd party product, so you might want to check with the DM to see if it is even allowed. The smite ability is significantly weaker than the Paladin's and appears to only last for one attack.
If you want to play a Paladin with lots of smites check out the Oath of Vengeance archetype in Ultimate Magic. It lets you trade two uses of Lay on Hands for another use of Smite Evil. With high Charisma and or the Extra Lay on Hands feat you should have plenty of smites. Your DM might suddenly have plenty of non-evil foes too...

I ran into a similar problem with my pyro-ish bard. After I started carrying around flasks of oil and other explosive materials (in combination with the spark spell), I found that my DM used plenty of fire resistant monsters...
And thanks for the reference for the Oath of Vengence Paladin. I almost forgot about that. And it also fits well with the character I was building. By the way, would you know if the third party sources are legal for PFS play, or not?

I think PFS only uses Paizo products, but they have a Guide which tells you the rules. I've only played in one or two "official" PFS games myself though we've used some of the older adventures as one shots in home games.
