Okay sorry haven't been around much...I have quite the stories to tell.
It has been very good,
I have found love with two beautiful women, and many friends.
Caught and exposed a creep, and possibly alot more dangerous.
But it is wrong of me to forget you guys, I will go into details very soon.
As I do want to share with you all.

We were worried that Henri had shut you down. :)

Okay I think I will start with the creeper story as it is also a cautionary story.
So when I first started to play, I was shy and stuff. Not speaking much on the world chat. So I get a PM from this guy..he was what seemed to be a lonely, socially awkward guy. So we talked...he try to hit on me, I told him no sorry I am a lesbian but we can be friends. He seems to accept this...though I get the feeling that he just wanted to remain close so he might get pity sex text from me.
(Sidenote: What is it with lots of guys thinking they have a magical penis that can 'cure' lesbians? Not all guys...)
So he started dating a very close friend of mine on the site..he said something that raised warning bells in our heads, so she asked me to come on to him to see what he would do, so I did (at this time I have become a sex symbol/ popular on this site...more on that later). He did not even hesitate or think of my friend. Unfortunately she took him back...first love and all,
So I started asking the other ladies about him...and pretty much everyone I talk too say yes he hit on them, so we exposed him and he left the site and my friend has moved on to someone much better.
However there is more...I found out two things about him that raised more warning bells...
1) He never talked to any of the guys...except to found out more about a girl.
2) reading my own conversations with him and double checking with the other girls, he was fishing for personal info...Age, Height, Weight, First Name, Hair and Eye Color, State. He would also check for consistency by asking it over and over again citing a bad memory.
Just be careful what Personal .info you put out online.

Well, as a hetero CIS Male, I would remind you that until 1973 Homosexuality was seen as a Mental Illness. Many heterosexual people still believe this. From my understanding, gay men also have a mirror of this problem.
Therefore since they see LGBTQ as having something "wrong" with them, they (arrogantly) think they can help fix it.

I have more stories...just couldn't get on yesterday...later tonight
Hopefully, the silence means that you are having a good time.

So one of the things is I discover about myself is I am really good at writing erotica. I have become a sex symbol there whose popularity extends to even other servers of the game.
I have made connections to two wonderful women and we love each other. So it is limited to the internet...but that is okay. We are even getting married on the server atleast.
There is a third girl who I made a connection to though that is more of a sisterly connection.
And there are other women I have relationships with. Of various levels.

I think it has something more to do with the male ego. Than any outdated scientific thought. I mean the guys I am talking about are definitely not studied.

Ego absolutely has something a LOT to do with it! Otherwise, they wouldn't think that they could fix "the problem" with LGBTQ people.
And, keep in mind, classifying LGBTQ as "mental illness" was never scientific. It was always a value judgement.

Selene Spires wrote:So any questions for me?With all the (positive) changes you are going through right now, are you still gaming?
Less now, but it is okay I found a new creative outlet and a new community. And have decided that no game is better than a bad game.
As a matter of fact I have decided to leave V-Sapce gaming entirely as I just dont have the heart to run/play there anymore. It has become too much like work.

I know.
It's too early to tell what this actually means for D&D, but it is interesting.

I dont like people's salaries being public knowledge. That is a invasion of privacy.
Hiring outside companies for a investigation can lead to just witch hunts...especially since those companies can be very political.
Hence the not making sense part.
It is also true the Jessica Price (the source of much of these complaints) has an Axe to Grind.

Yeah things dont look good :(
If Jessica Price & Crystal Frasier are to be believed, then TSR got ganged up on for saying out loud what everyone seems to have really felt. :(

Two unhappy announcements
1) with recent developments with Paizo I dont know how much longer I can remain active here...but I have a idea which I will discuss later.
2) We decided it is time to put Floyd to sleep. He is is 16 years old and has been deteriorating fast the last couple of months. The appointment is Thursday.

So sorry I've been away. I'm glad to see things have started looking up for you recently. Except for...

16 years is a good run for a cat, and I'm sure you filled his life with much more love than you realized. I know it's heartbreaking to have to put a beloved pet to sleep, but if you have the spoons/strength to do it, I'd strongly recommend being in the room with Floyd as he takes his last nap. Your presence and voice and gentle pets as he leaves will ease his passage, especially in an unfamiliar stressful place like the vet's office. If you can't do it, it's totally understandable though.
When he isn't enjoying life anymore, you are doing what's best for him. I'm sure he knows it's his time, and he will appreciate your loving mercy.

I don't expect you'll want to talk about today Selene, but I just wanted you to know that we're all wishing you the very best on a truly difficult day. In time, I hope you'll only remember the happy, loving, funny memories you had over these many years, and that you won't be enervated by the pain and loss.
Much love and hugs if you want them.

Okay. Given your prior comments about disappointment with Paizo, you deciding to move on was a distinct possibility.

So any questions?
How does it feel being on the receiving end of my first post on these boards since July?
With all the drifting in and out that goes on, how do you realize when you've kinda.... ghosted a place you used to spend a lot of time?
See any good movies lately?
