Do you have an opinion about JJ Abrams's version of Star Trek?

Lord Fyre wrote:

I enjoyed it. I was not a big fan of the Star Trek universe...I liked the first show mostly due to the characters...which his version managed to capture very well.

Liberty's Edge

How would being able to fly affect the nature of piratical combat?

lucky7 wrote:

Do you mean?

A) Just 'you' (IE one person) flying.

B) The whole crew flys.

C) The ship flys.

D) All the above.

Liberty's Edge

D.

Ok...

A) Just 'you' (IE one person) flying: Probably not that much over all...though you will be safe in case of a sinking ship.

B) The whole crew flys: You would see something very much like carrier tactics today. You would probably invest in a lightly armored ship but a quick one as you can board out of a prey ship's range.

C) The ship flys: No place would be safe...you could strike anywhere and escape any pursuit that is ground or water base with relative ease. Just make sure you recruit a crew not afraid of heights. This one is also probably every pirates wet dream.

Anymore questions....?

There is one other thing that J.J. Abrams did right. :)

As much as some might say that the mini-dress uniforms are sexist, but can you guess what Star Trek uniforms get cosplayed?

Um....mmmm....The mini skirt ones.

As to Zen Archers on my OP scale...1 being 'Hey lets play a commoner...to 10 being 'Hey I want to play my Godling, MA expert, Special Forces OCC with power armor Rifts character in your Pathfinder Game'

I would rate it a mmm...I would rate it a 4...mind you though I have not seen it in play. I don't like judging things till I do.

Today I had a stress test...which if you don't know they put you on a treadmill to see how your heart put up with stress and to raise your heart rate.

I am thinking those pictures would have been a much better way of doing that.

What skill do you consider having the most use in a Pathfinder game? Like perception or craft.

It looks like you're trying to get people to ask you questions. Would you like help with that?

lucky7 wrote:

Um...probably perception as everyone use it...it is also probably the most common knowledge skiull rolled. Follow up by Sense Motive...atleast my Players never seem to trust my NPCs.

What is the square root of Wisconsin?

Brandon Verkennes wrote:
What is the square root of Wisconsin?

There are two possible ways to do this...

The answear to one way is..

15465870.535469834974432600055927

the other answear is...

11.1803398874989484820458683433659

now figure out how I arrived at those numbers...

Liberty's Edge

Can you telll us?

lucky7 wrote:

Sure...

I translated the word Wisconsin into a number by assigning a numerical value to the letters based on when the appear in the alphabet. For example A=1, B=2, C=3...and so on.

So wisconsin becoms 23, 9, 19, 3, 15, 14, 19, 9, 14.

I than for the first one just said that was one big number...239,193,151,419,914 and the did the square root of that number.

Method number two I just added them altogether like so... 23+9+19+3+15+14+19+9+14= 125 and than figure the square root of that number.
