Spouses, children ... it's like you people are grown-ups!

I know huh? Scary...just want everyone to have a great day. Trying to sort out appointments and insurance coverage. Oh the joys of being an adult.

They shorted Arista's check for tomorrow...Now we can't even afford our rent.

Ugh. Why?

Have you tried leveling with your landlord?

No idea about the check. I can talk to them tomorrow, but it'll be a hefty late fee if I pay the rest next Thursday. Then that will cut into other bills...

I suggest talking to your landlord. Most places have some form of support in place for folks during a financial hardship. Give it a shot sooner rather than later.

We're going to talk to her parents tonight and see if they can help.

Good luck. I know that's got to be tough.

I meant it about the landlord. Most credit card companies (as soulless as they are) offer some form of interest-free deferment for folks in a bind like you're in.

I know. We just need to figure out where we are at tonight and then tackle it tomorrow if need be.

I have to say, that was a great side quest and an awesome ending to transition Corda to NPC Status.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm sure Corda could have met her end in a horrible way, but I have a hard time being so cruel to a PC. NPC's are a dime a dozen :P

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

I have to admit, that I was freaking out when she got taken by the bandits in the shanty town.

Well, we're going to head out to friend's place for festivities. I'll be headed to work from there so everyone enjoy the rest of your evenings. I'm glad we were able to finish up Skaar's tale, at least.

Sounds good. You and the Mrs. have a good night yourselves. =)

I was honestly more worried about the minotaur getting a hold of Corda. Depending on how hardcore the maze is it wouldn't be hard for him to ambush while we were resting, snatch up Corda, and run off before Skaar can catch him.

Well my co-worker was being a total you-know-what when I asked her about working on Saturdays or even just splitting them with her. Now I'm a bit ticked-off.

In what way? =/

She told me to go work at another site since I only have to worry about November and she's falling behind on everything and needs the time more than me.

This is why I generally hate people. Guess who's not getting a Christmas gift this year.

Female Witch 7 /\/\ HP: 32/38 | AC: 13 | Tch: 13 | FF: 11 | Fort: +2 Ref: +4 Will: +6 | Perception: +7 |

Hey Henry, quick question, are you going to handle Corda's dialog in the main Icathia game, or am I?

If Corda needs to say anything, you can handle it :-)

Eh, it sounds like she could have been more diplomatic about it but she probably has problems of her own. =/

Did you manage to chat with your boss?

Yeah, unfortunately, that's why I had to deal with the co-worker.

It doesn't make too much sense to push for another post just to work there for three weeks though. If anything, I feel the universe is telling me that I'm better than this.

Did you have something else in mind?

Something my parents did when we were tight on money was pick up a newspaper route. The hours were awful but they were short at least.

I don't really know, but I've got to move forward. A paper route wouldn't work because I'm at work when they're delivering.

Hmm... donating blood?

I've tried donating plasma. It pays little and the last time, I passed out.

The pay is low starting out but it ramps up the more you do it.

Passing out, however, is a problem. =(

Actually it's the reverse is true here. Payment goes down the more you do it.

It must be different out here.

Ah well...

It probably varies by state.

On one hand they want consistent donors so they can gauge their supply levels. On the other hand they don't want to encourage junkies and such from killing themselves for a fix.

I know in So Cal is starts at $20 per session and ramps up to $40 per sessions after a few weeks. I did a bunch of research when I was getting the money together to buy my house.

Here it starts at $40 and goes down to $15-20 after the first two sessions. There are a lot of junkies here though.

Bah, need to distract you...

What did you have in mind for mythicing the rest of the party?

Good question that I have no answer to at the moment. Been a bit distracted.

Understandably.

Skaar's ascension was purely by chance, really. I don't think anyone in the group can repeat that feat. Well, there was Alethiro's destruction of 14 skeletons with his channel. But that was before Paizo gave us mythic rules.

I thought you had something planned with the shards.

Ascension through artifact smashing seemed like a good fit.

That would only work for Sadhana though, but there are a couple of other objects that could use a shattering. The cause for ascension should be suitably difficult or something really out of the ordinary.

Well I suppose magus is like a mythic class all on its own. =)

Just about :P

Female Human (Anizari) Female Human (Anizari) Magus (Bladebound) 14 : Mythic tier 4th (Champion ); HP: 160/160; AC:34 FF:30, T:15; Init:+5, Fort: +12, Ref: +6, Will: +10; Perception:+4(+6)

Interesting way of looking at it.

Male Elf Cleric 8 / Hierophant 1 /\/\ Init: +1 | HP: 53 / 53 | AC: 18 | FF: 17 | Tch: 11 | Fort: +6 | Ref: +3 | Will: +9 | Per: +10 | Special: +2 saves vs Enchant and emotions spells and effects |

Besides, Alethiro's going to die anyway, so ascending him would be a waste of time.

Maybe that's how Drago becomes mythic?

Just waiting on Cyna.

Nope don't drink, I was at work.

I know I typed it up though. Strange. Must have been interupted before I could hit post and forgot about it.

Ah, it's alright. I'm a fan of sobriety myself :)

Edit: If I was a drinker, I would be wasted now given all that's gone on.
