Okay Henry, now you're just really trying to screw with us.
*Can't help but chuckle at the irony of the situation.*
Bravo. Absolutely beautiful, I don't think I could have done better myself. Just ask Cyna.
Edit: It's not everyday you come across a colony of intelligent ants at war with a nest of intelligent spiders.

No fair. Skaar can't take a feat from that book but he can get a curse from it!
Does that mean Skaar can take Virility? =P
Skaar
Really? I don't see it.
I mostly just like the idea of taking a feat called Virility.
I may be renaming Toughness...
Skaar
I guess Skaar has a new side quest.
Skaar
That's not okay!
Although there's no penalty for bringing others to orgasm right? Otherwise that'd get deadly real fast.
Skaar
Still not okay!
Hopefully there's a powerful spellcaster on the way back to Zavhroma.
Arista
That's my honey for ya. Only he could come up with a curse like that. No wife has ever felt so proud. I keep telling him he's a great story teller and if he could just figure out how to put this kind of creativity to work in book form, we wouldn't have to worry about anything anymore.
No pressure babe! :oP

=/
Hopefully Rando or Kyoshiro know a guy that knows a guy.
Cyna Singer
My roomate writes on the side people pay him 50-75 dollars for a few thousand words a week via paypal. He is thinking of doing that full time instead of working at a used book store.
Arista
Henry really has some good ideas. He has some stories in mind and even started on one of them, it's just been a really rough time and I think he's having trouble getting his thoughts down on paper. It's hard to have a positive outlook and creative momentum when everything feels like it's going to crap. I always tell him he should just start writing, even if it sounds like nonsense and eventually the good stuff will just start coming out.
Arista
That's really cool for your roommate. I wish him luck, it's a hard business to really get into. Henry just lacks confidence I think. He never sees the worth of his own work.
Well, you don't. :-P
Arista
Oh come on honey. They already know what a good story teller you are, duh. I'm tired and you know what that means, I just can't help it. If I can't brag about you, who can?
Drago Skorzeny
Yeah, I can atest to how hard it is to get into the writing scene. My dad's been trying for the past few years. I might be a little bias, but I really think his books would sell. Or if he could get one of his screenplays looked at by someone influential, that would work too.
Speaking of which, if any of you are interested in a sample, here's a link.

Trying to get my dog to use her bed is proving to be a challenge.
Skaar
Terra seems to be of the same opinion.
Arista
Even then I think it's pretty much impossible. Once is okay to a dog means that always is okay. And she already had that habit when we got her because the people that had her before us let her sleep in their kids bed.
And she was just so tiny and cute, how were we supposed to say no?
Harakhty Suntooth
When I was young, I had a dog on the larger side, and our house was 2 stories. He'd usually sleep downstairs, but every so often, he'd wander up and sleep in my room. I really liked it when he did, but he was very docile and didn't run about or wake up at 3 AM to scratch at the door and be let out. I miss him.
Were I a dog though, I must say I'd be sleeping on a bed too - really comfy! In my experience, the only thing that gets them off is food.
Arista
Ella, our baby girl, her idea of waking us up isn't as nice as scratching on the door...oh no. She prefers to crawl up over our heads and walk on our faces and lick us until we get up and get her whatever she wants. Either it's to go outside or food in her bowl, but if we don't get up when she wants us to she'll just keep walking around our heads, or plop down in between us and demand attention until we succumb to her wishes.

I'm more concerned about where it's localized.
Realistically, men with conditions that make sex painful often fall into horrible depression.
Skaar
He doesn't know that!
And that's not the kind of thing you experiment with...
Skaar
=/
Skaar
I'm curious what else Corda has in mind.
Skaar
What do you mean?
You could take charge in Rise.
Skaar
Any movies out that interest you guys?
I'm going to see Fifth Estate after I get a haircut and hit the gym.

Not really a movie guy. However, there is an unofficial production of Wicked coming through soon I'm itching to see.
Skaar
Oh, I'd be up for seeing that!
Skaar spends far too much time being tortured.

I'm generally more of a doer, which is why I think I'm not much of a movie person. Games are primarily how I spend my free time. The posting on here gives me the liberty to expand my practice in creative writing, something I was never good at in school. My Pathfinder group on Fridays is a blast too. I'd rather do those things than watch a movie almost any day.
Perhaps it's also because there's nothing really good out there often? The only movie mention that mildly excited me recently was a (re)release of Dune sometime in the future. If they don't bastardize it, I'll be quite anxious to see it.
Arista
Movies are just kinda blah, and with netflix I would rather be doing something where I'm not just sitting on my ass. However, if we could afford to go see Wicked I would LOVE to do that. I LOVE those kinds of shows. I guess that's kinda why when I was younger I was more into the LARPing groups. I loved being able to run around town, or a college campus at night with my friends, back when I had some.
I don't know, we are kinda left feeling disappointed because we thought that moving out to a larger city we would have alot more opportunities to go out and do things. Alas, that is not the case. Instead we are stuck inside most of the time because we are not interested in most of the entertainment kind of things they have out here, and anything worth going to is usually done at night, when we are supposed to be working, or at other inconvenient times. I just wanna go back to living out in the country.
