Celestial Eidolon?

Advice

Shadow Lodge

I was looking for a way to accomplish this mechanically (fluff is no problem). Is there a way to make said eidolon either Celestial or Infernal/abyssal? Thought there was. Am looking and have not found.

Take Care,

Kerney

The race, Aasimar, has a access to a feat:

celestial servant:
Prerequisites: Aasimar, animal companion, familiar, or mount class feature.

Benefit: Your animal companion, familiar, or mount gains the celestial template and becomes a magical beast, though you may still treat it as an animal when using Handle Animal, wild empathy, or any other spells or class abilities that specifically affect animals.

Which while close, doesn't quite work with eidolons. I'm not sure a celestial eidolon even makes sense. It's a figment of your imagination made real...

You can mimic everything about the celestial template via evolutions, except for the smite.

And even smite... kinda.

Take magic attack, be good, you'll get attacks that penetrate magic and good DR.

I got in an 'interesting' debate about what an eidolon can or cannot be over on the PFS boards. I was under the impression that it was an extra planar creature.

It got me thinking about this was

Spoiler:
Doing an npc husband/wife who were also summoner/eidolon and had (since they were good aligned) children with the half celestial template because the eidolon was from a good plane.

if your eidolon took the mount evoluton, would he qualify under the mount part of celestial servant?

Nopers. That's not the Mount class feature.

Eidolon's are Outsiders. Considering there is an evolution specifically to allow an Eidolon to emulate an Undead I find it a bit annoying that there isn't something, if only a framework/recommendation, that allows an effective 'Celestial/Fiendish' aspect to an Eidolon. Or possibly a Summoner Archetype similar to 'First Worlder' that allows you to add an Alignment type to your Eidolon rather than changing it to 'Fey'.

It would probably work better if the Summoner was the Wife. At least that is how I would rule it if I were GM in that situation.

Thanks everyone. I'm looking for innovative, technically legal things like this that are close.

Have your DM use his mystical handwave powers.

Why doesn't it work? Granted the animal related features would be inapplicable, but the template can still be affixed.

Eidolons are not an 'animal companion, familiar, or mount'. As for the magic handwave, I'm using the idea for a public, non-pfs one shot at a Con, so I'm trying to stay within the rules as much as possible.
