good pg adventure path

Advice

My wife has been talking about wanting to try to Dm and wants the help of an adventure path. I've never really used any myself. I bought a few and the skull and shakles looks like it could be a little dark for younger players 6-10 or so. Are thete good light hearted adventure paths that we could look into to get everyone involved?

All Adventure Paths can be PG though it might require some work as none are perfectly PG.
I think these are the top three that are closest to PG, though again some editing will be needed.

Curse of the Crimson Throne Needs to be updated to PF from 3.5
Kingmaker
Jade Regent

If you want something more editable I would say use the various modules that are available.
Some of the older 3.5 ones are great, but need updating.
Though some of the newer PF modules might fit your needs better.

Good starter Modules
Crypt-of-the-Everflame
Master-of-the-Fallen-Fortress
The-Godsmouth-Heresy
Murders-Mark

A first-time GM and young players? This has Beginner Box written all over it.

Seriously, take a look at it and give it a try.

Liberty's Edge

Second Lamontis: I would go Beginner Box then into Jade Regent; they both start in Sandpoint. and I don't recal anything overtly dodgy in Jade Regent.

Plenty of cool things for little ones though, Ninja's, Vikings and Goblins.

This +1...the beginner box is a good product especially for younger players. I bought it to introduce my son and his friend to TTRPGs (both 9 years old) worked wonders.
