Hi gang.
I have to figure out some tie ins and backstory for a new group so that has led me to this question -
As far as PFS scenarios go - who is the most memorable villains in the scenarios thus far. I am looking for unique individuals and not organizations.
Bonus points it they are alive at scenarios end and appear in more than two scenarios.
Pleas briefly state your reasons for picking the villain in question.
I have to take out a certain BBEG from is in 'Eyes of the Ten' out of the running. Grandmaster Torch, the ParaCountess, and certain four and five star GMs do not count either.

I think we kill all of our foes most of the time. Maybe the leaders of the Aspis or something like that. I know during one scenario it looked like <censor> was a traitor to a faction. So he/she/it was a villian for 1.5 scenarios, tops.
Maybe you could have a nemesis or rival within the Society with a player character.
A lot of people probably think Drandel Drang, the venture captain, is a heartless villian for all of the stuff he puts Pathfinders through.

This thread looks like it could become spoilerific...

There is a recurring villain from a three-part arc:
Also, it's looking like this season is setting up a permanent recurring villain.

Why replace him? He has to be one of the best set up BBEGs ever. And with proper lead in, the players are totally blindsided. Then you get to reference things that happened throughout their careers, all while tormenting them mercilessly and making them hate him more and more. It's awesome.

Yup. This was my first thought when I saw the thread title.
Agreed that I'd like to see Kafir and Nefti from The Devil We Know brought back in newer scenarios.

I dont even need to mention the name of the villain, but just the scenario title: The Dalsine Affair.
The villain of The Dalsine Affair is arguably the most-successful villain to date. His actions in that scenario have had a greater effect on the campaign than anyone before or since.
And he was clever.

Quite true. But most (if not all) of the players have played through Eyes of the Ten.
Reasoning -
We all have several high level PCs (I have a Level 13, 11 and 11 for example) - but we need to build some from level one that will hit level four or five by Gencon. We rotate GMs and I wanted to build a off a starting point and story arc with a possible villain as a tie in.
Grandmaster Torch would work well if he was not a faction head, and since we already played Eyes of the Ten and now have Venture Captain PCs, well the sting is taken out of that scenario.

Mr. Miles,

I gotta say that very last line is extremely ominous :P
Favorite Villain....Hmm...
Feast of Sigils - BBEG strikes me as true, determined, villain
Tancred Desimire. They mention him in "Storming the Diamond gate" as well as loosely throughout Season 4 as an enemy of the Paracountess.

RE: Mark Moreland's spoilered request:
Chalfon really takes the trophy home here. He very cleverly exploits a weakness in the Pathfinders' network by placing them in a legal bind. As it turns out, Venture-Captain Muesello was illegally smuggling Taldan artifacts out of Taldor, and harboring cultists of Sarenrae. So Chalfon pounces on the opportunity, leading up to the beginning of the scenario.
And the Pathfinders' only option is for the PCs to break the law, subjecting themselves to legal punishment if they are caught, as well as getting the Society kicked out of Taldor. In order to save their Society, the players have to become lawbreakers! Awesome!
And on top of that, Chalfon even arranges for a feud between Baron Dalsine and Pasha Al-Jakri to boil over when the Pasha's sister is a victim of Chalfon's arranged raid, which is actually an execution of the law.
He sets them up, and he watches them fall. He's the best villain in PFS. Puppet-masters like him, who place the PC's in difficult circumstances, are what we need to see more of.

If that's what you like to see, then the scenario I just assigned is going to BLOW! YOUR! FREAKIN'! MIND!

If you have played it, you know it will turn members of certain factions on their heads. If you havent, then you need to go play it. It's one of the best.
Seth Gipson, obviously, just managed to move into the ranks of great villains.
And I still think many GMs misunderstand his tactics.

I have said this before and I will say it again, there are 2 NPCs that always seem to get players in trouble and I think they are secretly villains!!
Yargos Gill & Nigel Aldain!
