Power attack?

Rules Questions

can you use power atk with every atk or is it just on full round action or a standerd action?

It doesn't require an action to use, it just makes all of your attacks fro a round at a -1 to-hit and +2 to damage (Including AoOs and stuff).

that is what i thought, course the gm thought it was one atk thing and probly saved us. thx for the advice

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Power Attack (Combat): "You can choose to take a –1 penalty on all melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks to gain a +2 bonus on all melee damage rolls.... You must choose to use this feat before making an attack roll, and its effects last until your next turn."

To be more specific, you choose when to use power attack, and you can choose to do so before making any attack. This can be your first attack for the round, or it can be your last, or an attack of opportunity. Any attack.

But once you've chosen to use it, the effects remain for that attack and all of your subsequent attacks until the start of your next turn.
