Pathfinder at PAX east?

Local Play

Just wondering of any society games are being planned for PAX east?

Ooo! Ooo! Any over here on the west coast, too?

PAX East charges companies for game space. As far as I know, Paizo is not attending PAX East 2013.

It is possible there might be a few GMs running their own independent tables in the Open Gaming area, but as Venture-Captain of the Boston Lodge, I am not aware of any.

We will have 85 tables of PFS goodness at TotalCon in Mansfield, MA the last weekend of February. It is the largest PFS event in the region.

Any other updates on this? I'd definitely be down for some PFS, and think I remember seeing people with sign-ups in the game room last year, but I'm not certain.

Paizo attended PAX East in 2012. We ran PFS games split over two 2-hour slots then.

Paizo did not attend PAX East in 2013. I am not aware of any PFS that ran there.

We are looking in to offering PFS in 2014 if Paizo does not attend. The problem will be if we can get some free badges for the GMs, otherwise GMs will have to cover all their costs.

PAX East is less than a month away.

Have you heard from any GMs who are planning to run at the event?

There's going to be a bunch of PAXPort to the Inner Sea going down!

Planning to run in the general gaming section, or at an off-site location?

And could you link me to the sign-up?

Thanks :)

I do not believe any PFS scenarios are running at PAX East, but they will have "PAX Port hour long events for Fun and Prizes." I think you get GM star credit for running these events and there might be a PFS Boon Chronicle sheet for them, but you'd need to check with a Boston Lodge VO to be sure.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I am Lucas Servideo the VL working with PAX East to have Pathfinder run there. We are going to be in the open gaming area. We will be running short one hour long events with pregens once you play in all 5 events you will get a Boon and a chance for Prizes.

As of right now unless the type of Badge we get from PAX is going to change. The games will be running Friday 11am to 11pm, Saturday 11am to 11pm and Sunday 11am to 7pm.

I am still hammering out the final detailts with PAX East Staff on final table count and final location of the tables. I should know soon.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me on the boards or email me at pfsnorthshorema@gmail.com

Thanks

I'm new to con play, but looking forward to playing a PFS game at PAX.

A couple of questions for Lucas:
Since these are shorter games with pre-gens, do I need anything other than dice and my PFS number to play?

Have you got any other details about number of tables, location, and sign up?

Thanks!

Griffid,

Dice and your PFS number will be fine, we will have over 200 of each level 1 pregen for you to choose from.

I just started a thread but it is going to be once we get a table of 4-6 players per adventure we are going to start.

Thanks Lucas
