Skirmishes feat

Rules Questions

Hi all, first time poster....and relatively new pathfinder player

I finally have my little halfling rogue with scout archetype to 8th level, and have picked up the skirmisher feat...but I was wondering what the impact is...

It says, briefly.. If a scout moves more than 10 feet in a round and makes an attack the attack does sneak damage as if the target is flat footed...

Does this mean that my attack roll is based on the AC that the target is flat footed and Ido sneak attack damage?

And if its just damage, what is the difference between normal damage and flat footed( I hadn't come across this before)?

Thanks in advance

Andy

Your attack roll is based on their normal AC and you do sneak attack damage.

No your target is not denied its dex bonus to AC, but nonetheless the feat allows you to apply your sneak attack damage to your attack in case you hit as long as you moved at least 10 feet

Thanks for the prompt answer....

We suspected as much, but wanted to see what others thought.

I am thinking that there are other feats that would make this much more potent...but not entirely sure which ones.

I have at the moment (apart from the normal)

Bleeding attack
Positioning Attack
Skimisher

I am pretty sure I cannot use skirmisher and positioning attack in the same round.

Friend just posed a good question...would this also suffer an attack of opportunity if you passed through a threatened square ?

Do you mean the movement? If so, yes if the creature threatening is aware of that movement then it provokes as usual. (Unless you prevent that by other means like grace or similar things)

Thanks for your answer..

Most appreciated.
