I understand that a Monk's Flurry of Blows is not intended to allow the monk to make consecutive attacks with any single weapon, nor in fact with any single limb (i.e. head, elbow, forearm, foot, knee).
Two handed melee monk weapons HAVE TO BE an exception to this, right? A Bo staff, for example?
Flurry of Blows does let you make all of your attacks with a single weapon, or with any combination of monk weapons and unarmed attacks.
Here is the FAQ on the topic. Short answer: yes, you can make all flurry of blows with a single monk weapon.

yes, that was my impression too, except for this thread from earlier this year: Attacking with a weapon (or single body part) multiple times with a flurry of blows (from Ultimate Equipment discussion)
EDIT: ninja'd. I'll go read that helpful FAQ that was just posted. Thanks.
Yeah Sanjiv, that thread is out of date. They finally decided and posted a FAQ on it about a month or two ago. :)

So now you can use a monk weapon two handed, be it a temple sword or monk spade. Now we just have to get them to let monks have proficiency with all 'monk' weapons...
Also, don't forget that with two hands monks use full strength during Flurry of Blows and not 1.5x.
Core Rulebook pg 57
"A monk applies his full Strength bonus to his damage rolls for all successful attacks made with f lurry of blows, whether the attacks are made with an off-hand or with a weapon wielded in both hands."
Yep, it works like we thought it did, then didn't, but still sorta did.
This means me, and every DM I have ever gamed with, was right.
But RAW, power attacking while flurrying with a two handed monk weapon will net you +3 to damage for every -1 to hit, or -1 to AC if you're using tiger style.
Thats a good trade.

Let's not forget the reach weapon.

Damn, monks are strong.
I think they should be nerfed.
Whats a 2 handed monk weapon other than a quarter staff? What's a monk weapon with reach? I don't have all the books so I seem to be missing something here.
