Race based AP, A different campaign setting?

Homebrew and House Rules

Would Paizo consider a new Pathfinder Campaign Setting?
Same rule-set/book obviously, but a whole different world with a different feel, history etc.

Could be of limited support.
Just a thought.

Other things...

Any chance for a race based Adventure Path? Something totally based on elf, dwarf, halfling, etc?
Maybe each section of an AP is for a certain race, and then the last half of the AP, the characters form a party (with some spares) for a quest, etc.
Granted this would require all players to have a few different characters, but story wise, could be quite unique.

thanks!
Keep up the awesome work.

Interesting thoughts.

I don't think, with there amount of 3rd Party Support, that Paizo themselves will ever release another setting on their own. Not to bad though.

I personally have several of the 3rd Party campaign settings, I even have ran a few [the others I can't find takers for].

Check out Cerulean Seas, Shadows Over Vathak, and Amethyst for some really good ones.

I think Paizo has a policy of not expanding beyond the Golarion-verse.

The more campaign settings you support, the the more divided the audience is, the less profit you make.

I think the only alternative campaign settings we might see are new continents and other planets in the solar system.

I am working on a Campaign Setting... It will be 3PP though...

And I think Paizo are keeping the Race-based adventures to Modules instead of APs.

I believe that Fire Mountain Games is planning on an underdark (dwarf or drow) AP after they finish Way of the Wicked.

TimD,

Yes, indeed. It's called Throne of Night. You can read more about it here.

It will not require you to be dwarven or drow PCs, but it will definitely support if you decide to go that route.

Looks fun; can't wait to get my hands on it.
