Hopefully this isn't too pedantic, but what is the proper format for "slotless" items?

The PRD (most often) shows: Slot none

The Core Rulebook shows: Slot

Is there a preference between "—" and "none", or is either acceptable?

Thanks!

The em-dash is the old way of doing it and the new hotness is "none".

Thanks Thomas. I searched on "slotless", but came up empty. The confirmation is greatly appreciated!

Good luck this year with your entry.

If you get the latest free errata, they answer 99% of these sorts of questions and also alert you to other rules changes that could trip you up. I cannot recommend highly enough checking out these errata.

This one came in with the fifth printing of the core rules.

Good advice Anthony.

The thing that tripped me up was the PRD still uses both "—" and "none"; so it was comforting to get an official judge's ruling.

(Best of luck in the competition!)

Out of curiosity, what is (currently) the right way to indicate that an item is weightless? 0 lb.? 0 lbs.? none? —?

At the moment, I believe it is emdash for weight.

He he, don't take everything I say as gospel

a) never made top 32 yet
b) I sometimes get it wrong
c) I'm not an official in any way, shape or form. I'm just fairly active and enjoy helping people when I can.

I do believe it is the M dash (that would be this —, for those that don't know). That is what the Race Guide uses.
