Ok so i just had an idea for a very different character and i wanted to know how it would be possible to create him. I prefer to stay away from homebrew so that i can play the character in pfs legal games. (if possible at all)
Ok so i wanted a character who would be able to copy himself. Not life an actual dobbleganger that can live and go on with a separate life like an alchemist can do, but he can copy himself multiple times for short periods of time and then they go away. I want it more like a duplication or replication power like this but just replicating himself.
I think this could be really interesting in a pathfinder game. However i dont know how to make him, or how to make him without being op or high level. Mainly due to the fact that this power would come with a lot of other class instead of being his pretty much only power.
Does anyone think this is possible?

Mirror Image is a second-level spell that creates copies of yourself, but they are just illusions and stay with you. If you don't mind the copies being illusions, then I'd probably go for an Illusionist.
Another possibility is to play a Summoner, and reflavor the Summon Monster SLA's as creating extra copies of yourself (and the Eidolon as one particularly strong extra copy of yourself). The copies wouldn't be too strong, since they'd just be using the stats of summons, but that's probably the most straightforward mechanical way I can see of going about it. After all, having extra copies of yourself would break the action economy, and nothing breaks the action economy like a Summoner.

Love it. Now if i could just talk a gm into allowing that lol

At 10th level, an alchemist could get the doppelganger simulacrum discovery to do more or less what you want. Another option is to make normal simulacra of yourself - but they wouldn't necessarily follow your instructions.

Yeah i thought about that but i wanted it to be more of a magical ability that was limited. I don't really want a permanent copy. However having your eidolon as a copy of you sounds pretty cool too but idk. I am liking the summoner summoning copies of himself. I just don't know how well a gm is going to feel about that.
