Sneak attack

Rules Questions

Hi all sure this has been asked before but i cant find a thred on it
Can a rouge use sneak attack more than once in a round if he has more than one attack due to level or twf

Liberty's Edge

Whenever the rogues attack qualifies it triggers sneak attack. So yes. As long as the rogue is still flanking or his opponent is flat-footed his attacks all use sneak attack damage.

Sneak Attack: "The rogue's attack deals extra damage anytime her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the rogue flanks her target."

Every time you attack, check if your target is denied dex, or if you're flanking. If either of those is true, then that attack is eligible for sneak attack dice.

Note that flanking never applies to ranged attacks, and ranged attacks must be made within 30' to be eligible for sneak attack (pending other abilities/items/etc).

That was quick thanks guys

As a House Rule, I do not allow multiple Sneak Attacks during a single round. I rule that Sneak Attacks are similar to Vital Strikes where you are waiting for that single precise shot each round to maximize damage.

Again, this is a House Rule and the rogue hates it.

He hates it because you're unnecessarily nerfing a class that already struggles to be competitive in combat.

But your house, your rules.

Do you have the same rule for critical hits, because that is basically the same thing.

Did you really just necro a thread just to post what you know to be flamebait?

Wow, didn't even notice how long ago that was.
