Is anyone on the east coast and being affected by Sandy? Probably should have asked sooner, but I never think of these things upfront.

New Mexico is pretty impervious to hurricanes.

Male Drow Noble Accountant 12/Monk 10

So are we in San Antonio, but like I was saying, I don't always think about that stuff until after the fact.

I'm just waiting for Kall and Azaraunt before moving forwards.

Montreal should get hit Halloween evening with the remnants, which sucks for the kids.

Ottawa, like Montreal, will likely get a bunch of rain over the next few days.

Monterey's not sunny and warm. Not at all what I expected weather wise when I moved out here last month. And the ocean is so very cold.

Careful what you offer. I was out in So Cal so much during the Living Greyhawk days that I had a character from Nyrond. Mostly trips to Long Beach. A few to San Diego though.

I have been to Monterey once. Had a great time. Did the sea kayak thing out in the bay with the seals and the otters. That water was cold even in late June. I was working so had limited time. My wife got to go see the Steinbeck museum and do a lot more touristy things.

Nah, not really bad, mostly just hyper and don't listen well. Little one turns two in about a week and is definitely in that two year old state of mind already. Five year old is autistic.

Would you guys mind posting your best available times and when you're not likely to be posting? It will make it easier for me to make those smooth transitions from scene to scene (or backstab to Power Attack :P).

Thanks

Pretty much the only time I'm not in front of a computer is 2am to 8am PST.

I post from my phone. 7 AM-7PM mountain on weekdays. Usually can only manage one post per weekend.

Female Elf Magus 1 | HP 9/9 {effects: none} | AC 15 (T15 FF10) | F+3 R+4 W+1 | Init +4 | low-light vision, perception +1

I find time for posting while at work, weekdays between around 9am to 4pm EST. Frequency depends on what's on my plate and associated deadlines. I occasionally look at the forums if I wake up early, if I'm not playing an MMORPG. Weekends are spotty, but I usually can post in the mornings.

Definitely no posting from 10pm to 5am weekdays. Likely no posting evenings either.

Shadow Lodge

Female Changeling Witch / 5 || Init: +3 / HP: 45/45 / AC: 13, Touch: 13, FF: 11 (+4 wMA)

On PST, usually up around 7 or 8 am, checking on games as late as 9 or 10 pm. No real set time in between there that I am on. Just check in in between errands, trips to the park and whatever else I am doing about the house.

Hard to throw in exact times but (and this time I am going to make you all check your time conversions for a change) I am usually in front of the PC at work. Basically this means from 07:00 to 18:00 I am usually available.

There is a gap from around 18:00 to 23:00, but usually I can post from my mobile phone at that time. Last but not least, usually I'll check the forums at home at around 23:00 or later, depending if work is keeping me up late or not.

Now the icing on the cake - all of these are GMT... MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Central time here. My availability varies with work load through the day and what is going on at Night. I am running home games Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 to 10:00. Other than that evenings are usually good. Weekends are iffy. Gone a lot.

That's not so bad, that puts you about 2 hours ahead of my daughter, who is living in Qatar right now.

I'm certainly offline between 11pm and 9am Eastern Time. Weekdays, I'm usually around the computer except between 5pm and 8pm. Weekends are a crap-shoot, but I usually have time between 8pm and 11pm.

OK OK You guys talk way too much... :P Here's a topic for you to discuss (ooc): Disney just bought LucasArts (and announced "Episode 7" for 2015). I don't know about you guys, but I feel a great disturbance in the Force. Who's up for Mickey Mouse as Luke?

Shadow Lodge

Female Changeling Witch / 5 || Init: +3 / HP: 45/45 / AC: 13, Touch: 13, FF: 11 (+4 wMA)

They can't possibly do any worse than episodes 1-3.

Disney has some good stuff going with Pixar. Maybe they can replace Jar-Jar with the T-Rex from Toy Story; that would be an improvement.

Male Fetchling Ninja

Episode 7!?! I thought Lucas said absolutely no!

On the other hand, I agree with Joy. I never allowed myself to watch Episode 1 more than once. Jar-Jar killed my appetite.

@LM
Post too much? Wasn't one of your player selection criteria participation quantity and quality? Do you want to impose a one-player-post per one-GM-post policy? Or guideline if it's not a hard rule?

@Everyone about Macavity's disguise.
I tried to take 10, but the GM ruled during character creation that I would roll at each encounter. Not that it matters. His regular Disguise as a Human is to avoid the commoner attention that a Fetchling might attract. He has Disguise Self when he wants to 'try,' or 'do' if you channel Yoda.

cheers

I was thinking that Ariel could be the new Princess Leia, with Gaston from Beauty and the Beast becoming Thrawn from the post-movie trilogy.

I've actually played in PbP where the GM enforced too many posting rules. I'm glad you're only kidding.

Male Drow Noble Accountant 12/Monk 10

I've got a general map of tsar that is on my Google Drive, but I need to get the link into the gameplay thread so everyone can see it. How do I do that? My Drive is set to private, and i am guessing that I'll need email addresses to send the link, but there should be an easier way, right?

I think you can simply put it into a specific folder and make it public.

That'll depend.

Ruul's pretty versatile. I'm inclined to believe that we have melee covered so I may be focusing more on diving spellcasting/support. We'll have to see after we get through a few encounters.

It'll likely either be a weapon upgrade if we need more melee prowess or more Pearls of Power if we need more spellcasting.

Shadow Lodge

Female Changeling Witch / 5 || Init: +3 / HP: 45/45 / AC: 13, Touch: 13, FF: 11 (+4 wMA)

More pearls of power sounds like a good idea for Lavinia too. Maybe we should work on a whole pearl necklace for her. I'm all about the divine spellcasting.

Bracers of Archery, further along the path for sure.

In more immediate terms, I think I will be betting on a pearl of power lvl1 for my Gravity Bow - oh yes...... :D

Or another efficient quiver (since I don't know how often we are coming back to camp...)

Crafting wondrous items here. I have already crafted a few of those pearls for my use. Not sure what down time we will have but given time and resources I can craft a first level pearl in as little as 4 hours.

Female Elf Magus 1 | HP 9/9 {effects: none} | AC 15 (T15 FF10) | F+3 R+4 W+1 | Init +4 | low-light vision, perception +1

Ack! I already have half the items we got in the packs! Oh well, I guess it's good to have some spares.

Oh, just for clarification, the "Haversack of Holding" is effectively a Bag of Holding Type I that is in the shape of a backpack and only weighs 5 lbs?
