Can a Sylph fly into space?

Rules Questions

Sylph.

"Airy Step" racial feat. (prerequisite)
"Wings of Air" racial feat.
"Inner Breath" racial feat.

Can I go walk on the moon now?

embed a Clear Spindle ioun stone in my forehead.

Can I go Live on the moon?

You need the spell Life Bubble.

Given those feats, you will still die from low temperature and lack of pressure.

Come to think of it. Life Bubble will only protect you down to -45 degree fahrenheit. Given that being in space can get you down to about -450 F, you'll be an icecube... Alternatively solar ray might fry you...

It would still take you one year (assuming 60ft speed x4 all the time, easy because of inertia).
Boring.
Just kill monsters until you get greater teleport.

Or you could use one of those moon gates from the Moonscar module.

Neato. ^_^

If it wasn't obvious, I was basically asking what one might require to live comfortably in space or upon other celestial bodies...

Once you have breathing, and flying down ( more importantly a form of flying that doesn't include physical wings ) ... What else is needed?

Is there a mundane way to have it done, without spending absurd amounts of gold? How about ways that don't require the ability to cast spells?

Previous threads existing, that might suggest ways?

It's a neat idea, but I probably wouldn't allow it in my game. Doesn't fit the flavor of the flying feat (which should probably only work in an atmosphere of some kind, but PCs are so rarely in vacuum that it didn't occur to me to include such a stipulation).

I like the thought experiment though. I'm interested in seeing where it goes.

You need to solve two problems:

Extreme temperatures (hot and cold): RAW does not provide worse than extreme temperatures, so you'll need cold and fire resistance 6.

Lack of pressure: I can't think of any way to solve this apart from Life Bubble.

I don't know the book myself, but Distant Worlds might have some answer, if it is something you are very interested in.

Pressure Suit will do it. Not too expensive either.

Have a look at this. Well worth the read.

Huh...Had no idea a pressure suit actually existed in PF 'till now.

Well, I think that's a rather nifty example. So one would imagine that being in a sealed off system, with its own air supply (and perhaps an exterior similar to the suit's), all one would need to endure the harsh temperature of space is Endure Elements.

Sadly, it's lacking in detail what the horrid effects of being exposed to complete vacuum would be, since it doesn't name any actual harsh effects other than losing air. It never claims that once that tiny bit of atmosphere is gone, that worse hardship would befall...

Anything else?

edit: Will look into it soon, Hecknoshow & HaraldKlak. ^_^ Thank you.
