Funny story:

When that abomination came out a few years ago, it was a big hit in Germany. At a music convention I was at a booth from a metal publisher where I talked to Kai Hansen (ex-Helloween). When he gave an interview he was asked about his dreams for the future, he really started to daydream a bit, talking about how great it would be to do a project with all or most german metal 'stars' perhaps being able to get metal back into german musical mainstream. Suddenly that annoing sound started to play from a nearby soundstage. One could literally see Kai 'snap back' into reality, groaning audibly, then adding 'or just to get rid of that, yeah, that would be a worthy dream!'
