Actually A dhampir channeling Postive energy would only hurt themselves if they channeled to harm undead. Healing their comrades wouldn't affect them at all. Likewise Channeled negative energy to harm the living would have no effect on them. Only when used to specifically heal the undead would the dhampir benefit. You have to choose how to use channeled energy and the dhampir is safe from it 75% of the time according to the RAW.

Unfortunatly....that's my whole point in taking the dip to get channel.
He's an Inquisitor/Kinslayer.I thought having some channel would be usefull.

The person doing the channeling can always choose to include or exclude himself.
But honestly, a one level dip just for channeling isn't going to be that useful. You'll only get 1d6 of channeling, which isn't enough to be useful beyond level 1 or 2. Though I suppose a philactery of channeling to add 2d6 could make it more useful.

Actually, I'm taking the Channeling Scourge feat....
"When you use channel energy to deal damage, your inquisitor levels count as cleric levels for determining the number of damage dice and the saving throw DC."Bane + channel combined make for some pretty unhappy undead ;)

Doesn't Bane only work of physical attacks? I don't think you can stack the two of those, unless you are also going to take "channeled smite" ( i think that's what it's called ). Yeah, that would be some pretty good damage.
