I just wanted to thank JP for the time he put into being the Denver/Colorado Springs VC. I hear he is moving on, and wish him the best. I never had intrest in Pathfinder. I played a Dr. Who game that was GMed by JP and decided then that I really liked his ability as a Game Master so I sought out Pathfinder because of him. Thank you for all the time you put into the game JP and Good Luck with your future projects.

I agree. JP is the reason I am playing Pathfinder now. I last played AD&D about 20 years ago. Tried 4th edition and it wasn't for me. For the last five years I had been into game stores in several cities and seen people playing games in back and had watched several. But until the time JP came up and encouraged me to play, I had never really felt invited to sit in.

He has an easy way to make people feel welcome and bring in new comers. Thank you JP.

JP was a great VC and the Denver community will miss his services greatly. I always had a lot of fun at his tables. His love of the game and industry was contagious. He also helped encourage me to take up the GM hat and to help out at local cons and game days. He saw potential for me as a judge long before I ever did.

Thank you, JP.

I also wish to wish JP well and thanks for all your efforts with promoting and growing PFS in Colorado.

Indeed. I enjoyed having him around, be it as a player with a confrontational character that made you think, or as a truly challenging GM. With a hands-off, but available approach to the VC position, it was easy to do my own job as a coordinator in his area. I appreciated that, more than anything.

Good luck in your future endeavors, JP. You deserve success.

Bang up job old boy.
You did an exemplary job during your term. You brought excitement to everything you participated in. It has always been a pleasure dealing with you as the Venture Captain.

Best to you in all you do------of course, since you'll still be in CO, this isn't really good-bye, just thanks. And here's to still seeing you around the gaming table.

JP, you have been a wonderful VC, a great GM & player. I hope the next VC will be as helpful, understanding, and fun to be around as you have. I'm glad you will still be participating in future games. Thank you for the incredible amount of time and effort you have put into making Colorado the best PFS community in the world!

Thanks JP for the time and talent you brought to the VC position, and your willingness to branch out into the FT Collins area through a trusty sidekick.

Best Wishes,

Great leadership and commitment is hard to find, and retain. We will all be impacted by this loss.

I have been playing Pathfinder for just over a year and the news that JP is moving on a VC was sad news for sure. He was the #1 influence I had in joining the Rocky Mountain Pathfinder Society community. I look forward to gaming with him in other capacities. These are big shoes to fill for those of us in this area. I hope that the person that takes on that role can do as well as he did bringing our community together. Thank you JP for all you have done and good luck on your new ventures.

JP will be missed as a VC :(

JP was a great VC that helped the Rocky Mountain PFS grow into such a strong community. There is never a week that goes by that we cannot play a game within a hour drive of Denver [unless we fill up all the tables at a venue.] He always made the time to make sure rule questions were straightened out and most importantly everyone at the table had fun. His leadership will be missed but I am just as sure he will help his successor along with any PFS’ers wherever he goes.

JP made it so easy for a newbie like me who had NO other connections to gaming to find a place in Pathfinder. I am very sad to see him go.

I only just met JP at Paizocon and he only GM'd one game I was in, but I have to say he was an amazing GM and while I'm sad to hear he's moving on, I wish him the best of luck in all future ventures, and may we cross paths again in the future.

Congrats on a job well done! You've personified the RMPathfinders in a natural and seemingly easy fashion, and served us well for two years. The bar has been set high for your replacement. You truly deserve gratitude from all of the Rocky Mountain region's Pathfinders.

Thanks, and Happy Trails!

I'd like to add my voice to those thanking JP. While my wife and I are new to the Colorado Springs PFS Community he was great help getting us set up and making sure we had a good time. JP I look forward to seeing you around the gaming table.

Thanks JP! I still recall our first few games in 2009 and I will never forget sharing a hotel room with you in Vegas for the last NeonCon. What happened in Vegas, stays in Vegas... See you around the game table!

It takes a big heart to breath life into a hobby spread so thinly over such a large and rambling state as Colorado. Thank you, Mr. Blue Whale Heart.
