Ok, say a group of like minded investors bought an island large enough for a small nation and have entrusted YOU to build your own society and laws. Assuming a beginning population of say 50,000 looking to immediately immigrate, what laws and what kind of government do you create?

Interesting thought...Set up cameras and satellites to watch life evolve on the island of its own accord. And we have a nifty floating island of Pumice stone all recently spewed out of the sea floor.

I volunteer as dubious overlord.

I'd volunteer for breeding stock as it sounds like fun, but the man on man action I prefer isn't conducive to creating children.
